Story
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Joey's favorite treat is a whipped cream pup cup from Dairy Queen, but watch out - he's protective of it until he's had his fill! Like me, he can be a bit possessive of his treats, ha ha. Joey loves car rides and snuggling in bed, but he'll need a lift up as he refuses to use stairs or ramps. He may even steal your pillow while you're sleeping! Not much of a walker, he prefers to be carried. Although he gets along with other dogs, he prefers his personal space and will only play with them on his terms, not with toys. Housebroken but with a tiny bladder, he needs regular bathroom breaks. Joey enjoys being outdoors but has a bit of a temper - he can go from sweet to growling in a flash. Not recommended for families with kids, as he doesn't like being disturbed from his cozy spot. Despite his unruly hair, he's carefree about it. Joey would thrive in a home with a single person or couple without children, possibly with another dog for company.
