For inquiries email info@compactcaninerescue.org Fee: $400 Location: Chesapeake, VA   Harvey is new in rescue and a true gentleman. He was a stray in southwest Virginia near Blacksburg, VA. We do not know his exact age but we are saying he is 10. Through a twist of fate we learned about him and immediately brought him into the rescue. He is an amputee and has a deformed (healed incorrectly) front leg/paw but he does NOT let it stop him. He goes where he wants and does what he wants. He is cordial to all and likes the other dogs in his foster home. He has beed groomed and will see the vet soon for a dental then once healed, he will be ready for adoption. Story
Pepsi is an 8-year-old Pomeranian with a big personality in a small package. He’s a happy little guy, but he’s also got an old-man attitude—sweet and affectionate one moment, a little scrappy the next! He loves to ride in the car, visit stores, and snuggle in a body carrier where he feels safe and secure. Pepsi showed up on my doorstep one day, looking for food and comfort. After gaining his trust, I took him to the vet and found out he was microchipped. When animal control contacted his original owner, they explained that they had rehomed him two years ago, but unfortunately, they could not take him back. Since then, Pepsi has been part of my life. Personality & Training: Housebroken but marks despite outdoor breaks. Crate-trained & knows "sit". Good with cats, unsure about small kids. Gets anxious when picked up but enjoys companionship. Neutered & vaccinated. One eye appears to have a cataract, but he can likely still see. Needs a patient owner, with other pets
