Story
I'm Theo, the furball extraordinaire! I'm a little over 2.5 years old, a dashing blend of Pug and French Bulldog, and I rock the scales at a solid 27 lbs. Oh, and did I mention? I'm fully vetted, housebroken, and crate-trained. Let's dive into my fabulous personality! They say I'm more on the Frenchie side. Translation: I can be as stubborn as a mule on a Monday, and rules? Pfft, they're more like guidelines to me. But don't be fooled by my rebellious streak; I'm also sweet and affectionate. Initially, I might act like I’m auditioning for the role of 'Shy Guy,' but give me a minute and you'll see my true colors shine! And yes, I do have a penchant for shenanigans, so my new fam better keep me on a tight routine with firm rules (unless, of course, you’re okay with me plotting world domination ). I get along with fellow canines just fine, but when it comes to chow time, I prefer dining solo—I'm a bit of a food introvert, you see . As for cats, well, I've never met one, but I reckon we could get along if you introduce us like we're on a slow-burn rom-com. Kids? Oh boy. The tiny humans freak me out, so a kid-free zone would be my paradise. Teenagers, though? They get a paws-up from me! So, who’s ready to welcome this delightful package of quirkiness into their home? I promise to bring laughter, love, and maybe a few unexpected adventures your way.  Located in private foster in CT Approved application required prior to setting up a meet and greet Please call your vet ahead of time to give them permission to release a reference - this will significantly expedite the application process!  Application to adopt - www.astdogrescue.com/dog-application ##2146262##

Story
Welcome Stevie to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 16- month old Pughuahua is our best guess. He is a small dog at 15 pounds. He has a great appetite and isn’t picky on his food. He currently eats in his crate. He is very puppylike and playful. He loves the small dog tennis balls. He likes all toys and will take the fluff out of them if he can. He is good in a crate and currently best friends with a small female playful dog in his foster home. He likes to run and play. He is crate trained and, on a schedule, will do all business outside. He is learning the doggy door. He does respond to the word “no” and stops what he is doing when you say it. He is good in a car and now good on a leash. He is friendly with dogs after he meets them. He would prefer a family of small dogs or no dogs would also be fine. When he goes outside to do his business, he does like his family to stay out there while he does his business. He will not go in his crate and will bark when he needs to go while in his crate. He was found as a stray on the streets of San Antonio. He was picked up by a good Samaritan after her day’s work. She saw him before work and after work he was still there so she took him home. He is now in a CCPAL foster home getting his training so he will be ready for his new forever home. He is not a big shedding dog, has an adorable underbite and a very cute curly tail. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Caost. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. CHERRY is a well-behaved good girl who would fit into any home environment, she adjust very well.  I do not have a shelter and CHERRY is in my home along with her daughter.  She came from a friendly home environment that took good care of her and just did not think about the breeding, the dogs were considered their pets but they did not believe in spay/neuter. If you are interested in CHERRY or her daughter SUNNI please submit an application on the website below.  SUNNI is 4 months old and 6 pounds. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 18, 2024, 7:41 am
