Story
Ryder is a 5-month old pug mix. He is up to date and shots and weighs around 15 lbs. He is fostered in Laurel, MD. Ryder is a sweet guy and loves to play with other dogs. He is an affectionate puppy and loves to climb on your lap for a snuggle or belly rub. This is his favorite spot to relax. Ryder is working on potty training and is doing great. He is a smart puppy, who is very eager to please and learns quickly. Ryder is new to PPR, and we will continue to update as we learn more about him. This lovebug is ready to find his forever home! Please note: You must have a dedicated private space for potty and outdoor exploration. Puppies often need additional immunizations before they are allowed to walk in public spaces. Pup cannot be left alone for more than "4" hours at a time. This is necessary for comfort breaks and much needed socialization for a pup this age. For young puppies that leave unaltered: A refundable $100 spay/neuter deposit for adopters with established spay/neuter history is required. A refundable $200 spay/neuter deposit for adopters without spay/neuter history is required. If interested in adopting please fill out our no obligation online application at www.puppypawsrescue.org Our rescue requires that all adopter's current and prior animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (DHLPP & Rabies) and preventatives (heartworm and flea and tick), unless there is a medical reason not allowing it. All animals in your household should be spayed or neutered unless medically indicated that they should not be or are currently still too young.

He also likes making doggy friends along the way, but will tend to be more cautious with humans. Weasel's ideal home would be a quieter one, with few people and a regular routine. He will bond to his chosen person and once you're his, you're his forever. He is crate trained and also has learned to sit for treats. If you give Weasel a chance, he will reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty. Submit an application today and meet your new best friend!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Winifred or Winnie is a sweet girl that was surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her.  Winnie would do well in a home as a single dog or with one that is calmer and not high energy or in her face.  She would also do well with older children as she loves her people and to be part of a family.  She loves to take treats from your hand, snuggle in your lap, and does fantastic on car rides.  She is working on her routine and potty training so she will require a family that will get her into a schedule and work on her this with her. PLEASE READ: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, please apply online at www.catdogfriendrescue.com. Please do NOT call or send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large influx of inquiries and phone calls. You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds.  Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you!  Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter and microchip insertion. ##2265074##
