Meet Dottie, a beautiful gal who is ready to find her forever home. When she first arrived at the Burnaby Centre, Dottie was understandably nervous and stressed, having been found as a stray. It took her a couple of days to start feeling more comfortable, but once she did, her sweet and friendly personality began to shine through.Dottie is not a fan of being picked up but enjoys gentle head pets, and she's slowly becoming more trusting. As she settles in further, we're sure she'll continue to reveal more of her wonderful self.Given her shy nature, Dottie will thrive best in an adult-only, indoor home where she can enjoy a peaceful, quieter environment. Cats like Dottie need a place where they can feel safe and relaxed, so a calm, loving home will be the perfect setting for her to truly blossom. Dottie will make an excellent companion cat but not so much a lap cat. As we spend more time with her, we'll keep updating her story.Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours on weekdays between 1pm-5pm (excluding Thursdays as we are closed to public) and weekends 1pm-4pm at 3202 Norland Ave. or; 2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
