She is housetrained, crate trained and gets along with other dogs but no cats please for this cutie. This little girl loves to run, play and is great on a leash and in the car. Penny was picked up as a stray in South Jersey. Sadly, her family never came looking for her. When Penny was found, her right rear leg had already been removed. She hasn't shared with us what happened and that's OK because that part of her life is behind her, and it certainly doesn't hinder her in any way. Meet Imp! He is lovely girl rescued by our team from High-kill shelter in Korea. She gave birth to his babies in the shelter. Behaviours from the previous foster: She is so gentle that she doesn’t bark at all and doensn’t have any aggressive behaviours. She loves walking and meeting her friends and She loves her hooman so much. She likes to be pat - especially on her butt – and always sleeps besides her hooman. She is doing her job out doors- moving her bowels. She is not a big fan of showering but she seems to bear it- She is so patient. We haven’t found any separation anxieties so far, She seems to be beyond happy when the owners come back home though. She is a little bit timid that she is afraid of some scary noise like vacuum cleaner, plastic bottle and so on. She has so much love in her. Be her loving family and she will be with you and adores you forever. Allergy/health issues: She has motion sickness. Meet Dari❤️ Dari came to Korean City Shelter with her six babies. Despite having skin diseases all over her body, she took care of her babies but one of them became a star. With the cold winter coming soon, Adogs was very concerned about the health of Dari and her babies, so we urgently rescued them. * With People: She's a great lover of people! She's very accepting of touch and gives her face to both familiar and strangers alike. * With Dogs: She gets along great with doggy friends at Adogs Center. * Car Sickness: She rides in the car very well with no car sickness. ** Health Status - Her medication for her skin disease is over, but she still needs to take a bath every two weeks to monitor her progress. It's not contagious! - Her fur is growing back after losing it due to her skin disease.

Felicia is 1 year old, 11-pound female terrier mix from Texas! Felicia is a gentle, curious pup. She enjoys being close to you and getting a spoonful of Greek yogurt as a treat. Felicia appears to be pee-pad trained. Her other skills are a work in progress, as she is still decompressing after her long trip from Texas. Felicia’s forever family will need to continue working with her to build her trust and reinforce and advance the progress she’s been making. Felicia’s crate is her safe space, and she sleeps in the crate at nighttime or when her foster family leaves the house. She has a little bit of separation anxiety - she is okay being left alone at home, but she hates when her foster family is in another room! She prefers her crate to be in the bedroom so she can be near her foster family over night. Felicia is looking to be part of a low key family that can teach her to love and trust. Because she is so gentle, we think she’d be okay in a home with children. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Bailey (born 6/20/2015) is an 8-year-old, 14 pound, housebroken, Rat Terrier mix. Because Bailey came from an abuse situation, he has trust issues. If you want to adopt him, you would need to visit with Bailey a few times to become friends and gain his trust. The deal here is that Bailey needs to know you before he can trust you. Once Bailey knows you, he is a very affectionate and loyal friend, but he will also be protective – so he needs to know that you will be the one to protect him. We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. Ike is a very sweet and smart boy. My brother adopted Ike in April 2022 when he was approximately 1 year old. Unfortunately my brother was diagnosed with Alzheimers and can no longer take care of the dog. Ike went to Country Lakes Animal Clinic, last visit on 04/30/2024. All shots up to date. Ike is super playful, smart and very sweet. When I visited my brother with my 2 dogs they all played and got along great. There is no cat in the house so I've never seen Ike interact with a cat. Ike is house trained, leash trained and crate trained. Ike wasn't taught basic commands but he's really smart and picks up on "sit" and "stay" easily. When people come over to the house Ike is social and very polite. Everyone comments on what a sweet dog he is and how well behaved he is. The perfect home for Ike - he likes to play, go for walks and maybe to the dog park. He enjoys being around people and squeeky toys!
