Story
Hi, I'm Annie! I'm an 8 month old cutie and I can be a bit bashful, but that’s just because I love to flirt! I'm pint size, just perfect for cuddling in a lap! I didn't have nice human friends before I came to the Ark, but now that I'm here I love spending time with my new volunteer friends. I’m learning how much I like playing with people and going for walks as I learn how to walk on a leash like a pro! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Terrier but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Story
Hi, I'm Harley! I’m a bouncy and fun little guy. Since I'm only about 8 months old, I don’t have much experience walking on a leash, but the great volunteers are teaching me and I’m learning fast! I didn't have nice human friends before I came to the Ark, but now that I'm here I love spending time with my new volunteer friends. I’m learning how much I like playing with people and going for walks as I learn how to walk on a leash like a pro! I can't wait to have a family of my own to play with! Story
Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Adoption fee:  $300.00  This is Trouble; named that because his foster Mom would be in trouble for bringing in another dog! Not sure about his breed...either a Chiweenie or a Rat Terrier mix. He is about 18 months old, fully vetted ; weight is 13#. Crate trained,  uses a doggy door.He has been a little anxious/insecure and is currently attending an obedience class. Would probably do best in a quiet household, no cats. Good with older children. He is house trained, loves to go for walks  and rides well in a car. He is being fostered in Chattanooga.    He recently graduated from a manners class.     Adoption Fee:  $300.00 Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.   To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.   NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences. You can help make a difference one dog at a time. If you would like to sponsor one of our babies, we accept online donations via PayPal or send a check to us at P.O. Box 2005, Chattanooga, TN 37409. We thank you for whatever you can help us with. Any donation is appreciated and is tax deductible, as allowed by law,  as we are a qualified non-profit 501(c)3 organization.    All our males are sent with BELLY BANDS!    for a one time Donation that goes direct to SCMR please go to our paypal link: August 17, 2024, 5:17 pm
