Lulu was surrendered because her owners realized puppies are a lot of work. She is a sweet, puppy girl that is a puppy just trying to figure out the world. Lulu loves when you talk to her and give her love. She is happy go lucky and enjoys playing with toys. Lulu is good with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Lulu is 11 months old and 42 pounds. Please help Lulu find the loving home she deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. Meet Cupie! Cupie is a 5 year old redbone coonhound with a gorgeous red coloring. She is a sweet and silly companion, great with both dogs and cats! She loves being around people and follows her humans everywhere, always ready to lean on you for a cuddle. Cupie has no food aggression, whether it’s with people or other animals. She’s a big fan of the outdoors and loves to explore, though she’s still working on her leash training—she’s getting better with time! While Cupie sleeps soundly through the night, she does get a bit nervous during thunderstorms. She isn’t big on personal space and will gladly invade yours, showing her love and affection. Cupie weighs 54lbs and still needs to put on a little more weight, eating 4 cups of food a day split between two meals. Though she’s almost house-trained, Cupie isn’t fond of the rain and prefers to avoid it when possible. She may not have a backup camera and has a tendency to bump into things while reversing, but that’s all part of her charming, quirky personality! The kind neighbor has been taking care of them but is on a time crunch before the house is closed down before the sale. She shares that these two boys are absolutely the sweetest things and wants to see them go together.
