PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Courtesy post: Red is looking for his forever home! Please share!! About 6 years old, Redbone Coonhound. Good with other dogs, hasn’t been around cats. He is house-trained. He's a sweet, loving boy and really a good dog. He’s been through a few owners, due to no fault of his own. He likes to be with people and has some separation anxiety (though he’s currently alone most of the time so more exercise and attention may alleviate some of the anxiety). Being a hound, he does bark quite a bit, but again he's currently alone most of the time. Someone will be so lucky to get this handsome fella! (Waiting for more info on his vetting status, will update when I have that info). In New England To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any details questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
ADOPTABLE HANDSOME BOY This HANDSOME boy is Max! Max is a 1 year old, male Redbone Hound mix. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. In addition to being handsome as can be, he is also a certified VGB (very good boy)! Max joined us from West Virginia a few weeks ago and we have been in love with him since he arrived! Not only is he handsome, he’s super SMART! Max is working hard on basic obedience commands wit his foster and has mastered quite a few tricks! He is completely crate trained, walks like an angel on a leash, and is at about 90% house trained. Max is dog friendly and loves to play and snuggle his foster fur-siblings. He loves humans of all sizes. We believe he would do well with cats with slow introductions as he is submissive in play with other dogs, but he has never been formally introduced to a cat. Story
Piper is a super sweet 3 month old pup that has just arrived from Tennessee with her siblings.  She is quite the cuddler and loves to be held and play. She has a lot of energy and would do great with another dog in the home and a yard. She is current on her shots and is microchipped.  She currently lives with several children and is great with all.  All puppies are $350 adoption fee with a $150 spay deposit.  Please be within one hour of Thornedale, Pa. She would do well in a home with another dog.  If you rent, you must have landlord approval in writing to adopt.  You can apply for her here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog  November 2, 2024, 3:27 pm
