Story
Cupid is 2 years old and full of energy! She really needs a big fenced in yard to live her best life. She is crate trained and housebroken. She sleeps silently in her crate overnight. She loves kids and anyone else who wants to romp around with her. She is always ready to play, play, play. She loves chewing on ice cubes and bones, rips apart any fluffy toys given to her....lol... She is a great pup, but we feel terrible that she has to spend so much time in her crate due to our very busy/hectic/unpredictable schedules 😞 Our small townhome doesn't have a yard and we know that is what she truly needs. 💔

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact nancybethc@comcast.net for more information about this pet.All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Hounds! Such wonderful, loving, goofy dogs. And here is Hank, sweet right down to his red feet. How could he ever have made it into a rescue and not be beloved by his family? Well, Hank was born into a hunting family , but he refused to hunt. He didn't want to hurt any other animal! So, sweetness or not, he had to go. Here is what his foster has to say about him; 'Hank, low key calm guy. Not bothered by other dogs at all. Doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive.' He just wants to be a good ole boy and be loved. Because he is a hound, we are asking that his adopter have a physical fence to keep his nose from following any special scents. Hank alos needs another friendly dog to help him get comfortable in his new home. We have made sure he has all his shots , so he is ready to be your own special boy. He promises to make you laugh when he runs about in your backyard or on a walk with those big ears flapping in the breeze. Ready for fun? Hank is your guy!   If you are interested in Hank, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2024, 2:58 pm

He is extremely sweet-tempered but needs more exercise and training than we can currently give him. He has a lot of hound in him and seems like he wants to work and run. Banjo is super friendly with other dogs and loves to play. He would love another dog sibling and a we believe he would do best with a big fenced yard or large outdoor securely enclosed property. He is known to be somewhat of an escape artist, a true hound. When he isn’t running around outside he does like to chill and lay around. Not sure how he would do with cats or livestock. If you are interested in adopting Banjo, please contact:Amanda Paige  email: amandacruzado13@gmail.com Phone: 7033045080Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2024, 2:58 pm

Story
Stroopwafel is a 7 year old female Redbone Coon Hound Her birthday is 12/17/2016. She is Heathy, Spayed and Up to date on vaccines (medical records provided)."Stroop" or "Stroopy", is a dog filled with love. She will let you pet her all day long, she likes lounging and cuddling on the couch, chewing bones, and sniffing.Because she is a hound, Stroop would love to sniff all day long! While Stroop inside is a lazy couch potato, she does have a high drive to run, and track, which means she is an escape artist.Pro's of Stroop:-Snuggly-Loves to be loved-Potty trained, crate trained-Gets along with other dogs (please see notes at bottom)-Is good with children- Healthy, spayed and vaccinatedCon's of Stroop:-Pulls on leash and is VERY strong-Not fit for a family that doesn't have a fenced in yard OR, a family who is unable to leash walk her long distances- As a hound escape artist - will try to run out a door or open gate if you are not careful-Is a trash bandit. Just make sure you leave the lid shut! While Stroopy is good with other dogs, she's becoming an old lady. She enjoys a calm dog that will lounge with her, and sniff around outside with her, younger playful puppies are not ideal.Stroop is in transition to a Foster home while hoping for a furever home. Not that she is old, but she is a mature adult that deserves a home she can finally settle into enjoying her senior years with a loving people/person family. A rehome fee of $50 is asked as a donation to the Harford Hounds, Inc non-profit.
