Perspective is everything and adding in a prodigy of love will raise the bar high. For these sweet souls, they have set their sights on having a forever family. They are mapping out their journey to their happily ever after. At the young age of 6 months, this litter of Rhodesian Ridgeback mixes have their sights on a loving home. Go big or go home is their motto and they are living up to that standard every day. Setting the bar high is what Luan likes to do. With a big love will come a big dog as she is expected to be over 60 pounds when she is fully grown. She is currently 32 pounds and looking forward to growing up. Luan is looking to have a fulfilling life with all the trimmings. She is looking to build a solid friendship base with others around her whether they are acquaintances or tried and true friends. She can mingle seamlessly with other dogs, children of all ages and adults. She has not had the opportunity to meet a feline. She is posed to be a great house dog and with determination she is working on her house, crate and leash training. It is a journey of small steps to reach her destination, but she is committed to it. Daily practice is ideal to reach the summit of her goals. She looks forward to the assistance of her family to make that happen. As with all puppies, Luan is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. She will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize her so that she can become the perfect lifelong companion. Story
Welcome Skipper to CCPAL Rescue. Skipper is a 90-pound Ridgeback/Dane mix is our best guess. He is a mush to the people he knows and his breed is very loyal. He was adopted out as a tiny puppy and a year and a half later he was found on the streets skinny and with hair loss. He is now back at the rescue and he is doing great. He is friendly to all of us and very happy to see his friends. He didn’t jump up but he does pull on leash. I don’t think he got to do much leash work. He has an adorable widow’s peak. He would be great for a family who has a traveling father or someone not home. You could feel safe that Skipper would keep the family safe. He looks intimidating and has a big bark but very very gentle and goofy to those he loves. He has a low coat and not a big shedding dog. We would like someone who has worked with an extra-large breed or a Ridgeback. He will do good with a strong owner that is willing to work with him to give him direction and training. He is one of our favorites and we think he may be related to JJ who is also available at CCPAL. Skipper has been checked over by the vet and is in good health. He has been given a Bravecto and is growing hair and putting on weight here at the rescue. He would be a great partner for a jogger and due to his large size could definitely keep up with even a faster stride. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
N*Sync is making a comeback! Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass will dance their way into hearts and homes. These boys can just look at you and make you want to melt. Born on June 8, 2024 – our boy band used to be a band of 7. They were born under a home, but the owner decided they didn’t want anything to do with them, so they refused them food and water, and 2 ended up passing of dehydration. Unfortunately, our laws just do not protect animals, so when we heard of the situation, we immediately took the puppies into our care. Mom and dad are unknown. Thanks to groceries, water, and love, they are now thriving and ready to find their forever families. They cannot get enough of being around you. When you’re walking through the house, these pups are right on your heels, following you and begging to be picked up. Despite what their previous humans did to them, they absolutely love human attention and affection. They will follow you around until you don’t allow them to any longer (when they’re back in the puppy pen). They are learning what pee pads are and are catching on quickly to go on them. These boys are very smart and with proper training and one on one care, they will learn fast. They LOVE food and are very treat motivated. You’ll notice a lot of the pictures have jerky treats in them, that seems to be their favorite! As of 8/17, these 5 boys only weigh about 5 lbs. We believe they’ll be about 35-40 lbs once full grown. Their paws are not very big. Since we do not know their parents though, we cannot guarantee size. We do believe Joey will stay smaller than the rest, with Justin being next smallest. They LOVE their toys and learning how to properly play with them. Most of the toys are bigger than them! Be aware: They may lick you to death Wiggle butts explain them perfectly, they are always on the go, always exploring and always wanting to be around humans. They LOVE the fosters dogs and have met their kitties, no issues with either. They get along great with the dogs (big and small) and all the kitties are bigger than they are and they’re more scared of the kitties than anything else. Justin, Joey, Lance, Chris and JC will thrive in all types of environments; they are the sweetest boys who will make the most cuddly, affectionate, loving, and loyal companions. If you would like to adopt this puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations (bordatella, DAPPV), current on preventions (Credelio Plus), dewormed and microchipped. A certificate of health is issued from a vet prior to transport. We are a small rescue in Texas where we do our best to prevent euthanasia in shelters and help stray and neglected animals find forever homes. Adoption fees are our only source of funding for the rescue. Unless otherwise specified at the top of the profile for this animal, this animal is considered to be located in foster care in Texas and available for transport once adopted.
