WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Landon - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fabulous people out there!! My name is Landon and I'm here looking for a home, a family, one to call my very own. And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that it means you might consider making me a part of yours!! I'm a youngster yet of around 11 months and am very loving, affectionate and ready for playtime. I love to be on the go exploring this big ole world and would do best with an active family that would want to include me in their activities and adventures, anything from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting. I come in at about 45ish lbs. A pawsomely perfect medium size for those long walks, nature hikes, camping trips and of course those belly rubs I absolutely adore getting. I have that innocent spirit that loves living life to the fullest, that energy that loves exploring the world around me and that playful demeanor that finds joy in everything!! Oh and guess what?! I'm already house trained! We can get right to the fun stuff...right away!! And....I'm learning some basic commands. I haven't had too much learning yet in my life, but I'm picking up new things very quickly. I already walk really well on or off the leash and know how to 'sit' and I am eager to learn so much more! I also love riding in the truck here at the rescue and will load right up to go see the sights!! I'm a very gentle soul that does pawsome with people both tall and small and I'm also great with the other doggies! I would make a great playmate to either a 2 or 4 legged 'sibling' or a terrific sidekick as your one and only! I haven't had the pleasure meeting any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat yet. I am so looking forward to being your FBF (furry best friend), your constant in this world, your heart beat at your feet!! If I sound like a perfect match for your home and lifestyle please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application. It can be found at haydudeequine.org Tail wags and puppy kisses, Landon 💖

Story
Meet Buddy – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Perfect Match! Buddy is a senior Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love and a personality that shines once he feels safe. He may be shy at first and take some time to decompress, but once he’s comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature comes through. Buddy absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Buddy’s favorite toys are anything soft and squishy, and he enjoys the simple comforts of companionship. He would be the perfect match for someone looking for a loving, loyal companion who doesn’t need a high-energy lifestyle. With patience and understanding, Buddy has so much love and potential to share. Are you the kind soul ready to give Buddy the forever home he deserves? Story
Welcome Skipper to CCPAL Rescue. Skipper is a 90-pound Ridgeback/Dane mix is our best guess. He is a mush to the people he knows and his breed is very loyal. He was adopted out as a tiny puppy and a year and a half later he was found on the streets skinny and with hair loss. He is now back at the rescue and he is doing great. He is friendly to all of us and very happy to see his friends. He didn’t jump up but he does pull on leash. I don’t think he got to do much leash work. He has an adorable widow’s peak. He would be great for a family who has a traveling father or someone not home. You could feel safe that Skipper would keep the family safe. He looks intimidating and has a big bark but very very gentle and goofy to those he loves. He has a low coat and not a big shedding dog. We would like someone who has worked with an extra-large breed or a Ridgeback. He will do good with a strong owner that is willing to work with him to give him direction and training. He is one of our favorites and we think he may be related to JJ who is also available at CCPAL. Skipper has been checked over by the vet and is in good health. He has been given a Bravecto and is growing hair and putting on weight here at the rescue. He would be a great partner for a jogger and due to his large size could definitely keep up with even a faster stride. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Rooster is a sweet gentle soul that wants to make friends with everyone he meets. He’s a smart boy that is very well behaved. He currently lives with kids, other dogs, cats, rabbits and sheep that he socializes with well. But he is a bit fearful of the horses. He’d thrive in a loving home that would spend plenty of time with him and take him for walks and let him explore.

Story
Great dog just need a new home. He would really benefit from a single owner who can take him for long walks. Very loving but he has a habit of chasing our kids and knocking them over and this has been an issue so a house without young children would be better. He is not an aggressive or mean dog just has the natural instinct to want to run and catch things that are running. He really needs a person who will walk him daily and take him down trails and hikes.

Story
Dinkum is the last of his litter and still waiting for his forever home! This playful, goofy boy adores toys and playing with other dogs. While his mom is a medium-sized Lab mix, Dinkum must take after his dad—he's expected to grow to around 60 lbs. His foster mom says he’s a cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up whenever he gets the chance. He’s 100% paper trained and about 80% housebroken—he’s a smart pup but still gets a little distracted at times. Dinkum knows how to use a doggie door and navigate stairs like a pro. He's fantastic with dogs of all sizes, great with kids, and even good with cats! If you’re looking for a loving, playful, goofy and sweet companion, Dinkum is ready to be your best friend! Story
Meet Blue Jay! Blue Jay is a stunning catahoula mix puppy, all 61# of her! She was pulled from a shelter where she was marked for euthanasia because she completely shut down after her sister was adopted. However, once in her foster mom’s house, she rapidly morphed into a very happy, energetic, intelligent & playful pup. She might be shy upon initial meeting, but rapidly warms up. She loves everyone & thing: children, dogs of all sizes, cats, toys, & FOOD. If not kept busy, she will use her tall/leggy body & smarts for evil, counter surfing at extraordinary heights. She is not yet the most confident critter, gets absolutely crushed by a raised voice. For this reason, a confident dog buddy would be ideal. Do you have room in your home & heart for this active, affectionate beauty? Attributes: Crate trained House broken Dog friendly Loves children Active lifestyle Would benefit from a confident dog buddy Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
