Willow is in Foster Care in So Calif Near Barstow. Please note this dog is located in SO Calif. Because of the overpopulation and high kill rate of shelter dogs in our area we are trying to find our dogs good homes in other areas. Please contact us for transport information. Willow is a med sized Rottweiler and SHepherd mix who is appx 5 yrs old. She is good with most other pets or is fine as an only pet. She likes passing the day playing with her toys and chasing a tennis ball or just kicking back with Mom and Dad. Willow would excel in a calm gentle home and is kind of a homebody. She gets a little nervous around kids and strangers.We hope to find her a stable and calm home with a retired person or couple. She is housebroken and want to be a part of the family and is a good watch dog who will alert you if a stranger comes to your home. Her previous owners were an elderly couple who led a calm homebody lifestyle and she slept in their bed with them, but they became ill and sadly had to rehome her. Willow also likes to play in the water or hang out inside on your lap or next to you watching TV or sunning in the backyard.. Willow will go scratch at the door to let you know she needs to go outside and she will not pull when walking on leash. Meet Sky! She is a 4 year old purebred Rotty who lived on a farm her whole life. She loves all people, plays frisbee, is e-collar trained, loves going in the water, and enjoys having a wonderfully fulfilling, active life. Sky had a Rottweiler brother most of her life and does great with another dog in the home with a slow, proper introduction. Unfortunately, her owners moved and are rehoming this sweet girl so she is currently stuck in boarding and missing having a home! Thankfully our rescuer stepped up and made space for us and got my brother the emergency care he needed, everyone at the Animal Hospital was wonderful and took great care of us and now that our rehabilitation has ended and we have recovered, we are seeking our own forever homes! I’m the complete opposite of my brother. I am very playful and active and happy and I’m very open and social and very food and treat motivated, but I will drop everything and if there is Child nearby, who hasn’t been drowned in my love and affection.
