COH Ralph is an 8 year old male Rottweiler. Ralph was a stray brought to us from the city of Hawthorne. Ralph loves to curl up on a warm bed and is great with kids 13 and up. Ralph is looking for his forever home! We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.

I took in this beautiful dog back in October when someone abandoned her in a field up near big Bear. She had seven pups in my garage and we raised them and found them all free loving homes. We have fallen in love with Gemma but feel she needs more space. She is so tame and sweet and eager to please. She loves kids and dogs and cats and she will make someone the most soulful loving companion. The vet thinks she is about three and she weighs 65 lbs.

Despite living with Masticatory Muscle Myositis, an immune system disorder that affects her jaw muscles, Coco remains a joyful and athletic companion. This condition means she can’t open her mouth all the way, so she’s on a special home-cooked diet rich in meat and eggs to keep her strength up and takes a daily pill to manage her condition. Coco adores her walks and can be a bit of a puller on the leash if she spots another dog, but she’s always great with people. She’s super athletic and enjoys her time outdoors. Although she can’t play with toys or chew on treats due to her condition, she loves liquid treats and is happy and content in the car. A total sweetheart with a loving demeanor, Coco is also fine being left alone for periods. She’s looking for a compassionate home where she can continue to thrive and enjoy her walks, special meals, and the affection she so generously gives.
