I'm in a FOSTER HOME! To meet me, email my foster parent at adoptbeena@gmail.com.Hello, I am Beena -- a big pup with an even bigger heart and the most gentle disposition you can imagine. I was found as a stray, so the shelter does not know much about my past. About my present, they know that I am the bestest boy. I was a true star for my medical exams and vaccinations and I have been greeting everyone here so nicely that I have been conquering all hearts in a storm.Check out Beena's video! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/_v7F_PsIjGw

Story
Roxie is probably the friendliest rottweiler you will ever meet. She is sweet, playful and loves lounging at you feet. She also loves taking her walks and enjoys her backyard, as long as you are there with her or there is another dog for her to play with. We got Roxie as a pupply just after she was weaned from her mom, at about 8 weeks. She turned 3 years old on December 29th. Like any dog, she loves her snacks - chicken feet - are her favorite. Dried or frozen though she is partial to the frozen ones. Her favorite stuffed toy is Lambchop so I just keep a few extras for her. She also loves her groomer because she loves to take a bath! She has been spaded and has never had any puppies. She will be your protector an unfriendly dog comes near you. She is a great companion and good company. Wait until you hear her sing along with her favorite TV commercials or her songs on the radio!

Story
Good day and thank you for looking at my Story. (Serious inquiries) - Tasha needs her forever HOME........ Tasha baby is 6 years old female - champion Rottweiler. She is a loving, loyal girl. Relocating out of state and unable to take her with me AND due to medical matter at hand. I wish I could take her, but I am looking in the best interest for Tasha. She loves the Dog park! I had taken her on more walks and dog park was absolute success! She deserves a loving home with a loving family. I am not taking her to the shelter as that is not an option. She had many training classes at the local dog school. She is more of a home body type but with more training I am sure she can be more outdoor dog. She has been more around adults. She needs lots of love, training and a permanent home. She will be ready for her new home ASAP!

These pups are in Washington, District of Columbia too!

Story
We are moving overseas for a temporary job and looking to rehome our beloved pup Archie until we return in January 2026. We adopted Archie in 2014 and he's now the most puppy-faced 10-year-old boy you've ever seen (seriously, we still get stopped on the street constantly asking if he's a puppy!). He has been a loyal companion, witnessing our family grow as we married and welcomed two human babies, now ages 6 and 2. Archie is a top-notch snuggler, full of energy on walks, and incredibly patient with little ones. Until very recently he would run his little heart out at the dog park, consistently faster than dogs half his age. Having spent the first year of his life in shelters, however, he does come with some baggage and still experiences separation anxiety. Archie would do best in a home with at least one person home the majority of the time and/or with another dog to keep him company. He is house-trained, but resists the crate. Please consider taking in our special guy!

Story
My family adopted Ava in September 2018 from the Humane Rescue Alliance. We estimate her to be around 7 years old. She is a good family dog for families with kids no younger than 12 or 13. With a good walk schedule, she is very chill for the rest of the day. I usually take her on 2-3 30-45 minute walks and she lays down for almost the entire rest of the day. She is crate trained (and she loves her crate!) and does not go on furniture unless she is invited. She is very loyal, very loving, and loves to cuddle.

Story
Good with: Dogs, kids Not tested with: Cats House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Some, when someone is at the door Hi, I'm Ripley! I was once a victim of neglect, but now I'm looking for a loving home where I can blossom. I'm a sweet, gentle girl who needs a confident doggy friend and a kind, patient human to help me come out of my shell and show me how wonderful life can be. I may be a little scared and shy at first, but I promise I'm worth the effort to get to know. When I feel safe and confident, I love freely, craving head scratches, playing with stuffed toys, and having zoomies in the backyard. My favorite thing about myself is how gentle and loving I ama total sweetheart! I have a medium energy level, and I'm both gentle and friendly. I enjoy short walks and zoomies, but I'm terrified of fireworks and car rides. Despite this, I love going on walks and being with my favorite humans. I'm still working on my training and don't know basic commands yet, but I'm housetrained and somewhat crate trained. On walks, I'm well-mannered, get along with other dogs, and handle distractions like bikes and skateboards pretty well. I need a quiet environment because I get nervous around new people. I need time to come out of my shell, but once I trust someone, I like them very much. I get along with all kids and dogs and am interested in cats, though I haven't had close contact with them. My daily routine includes morning and evening walks, and I have access to a yard, but I prefer staying indoors with the air conditioning when it's hot. I don't shed much and don't need grooming. I'd do well in an apartment, would be great for a first-time dog owner, and would love someone who works from home or is home often. I can't wait to find my forever home and share all my love! My foster guardian says: Ripley is gentle and loving - total sweetheart. Likes: Short walks, zoomies Dislikes: Fireworks, riding in the car My ideal home: Id prefer to have an owner who is home often, but Id be good in an apartment and for a first time dog owner.
