***Presley is heartworm POSITIVE as of January 14th and is on slow-kill treatment. She must be on Advantage Multi topical until she is heartworm negative. She can still be adopted at this time. We will supply adopter with 3 months of Advantage Multi to continue treatment until she is taken to a vet by adopter*** Presley is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in one of the cities listed below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Presley is a female Rottweiler mix (with a full tail) and around 2 years old. -She came into the shelter of August 2023. -This sweet girl does well with other dogs -Quite playful -Loves to romp in the yard -Very friendly with people. We assume she would do well with kids but can test her -She can walk on a leash but does pull. -Can be cat tested upon request. -Video of Presley: https://youtube.com/shorts/of1pWCcgFzA?feature=share Presley is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a *positive* heartworm test as of January 14th and is on Advantage Multi for slow-kill treatment. Susie Q is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Susie Q is a possible Rottie/Lab/Hound? mix (we are unsure of exact breed mixes). -5 1/2 months old (March 4) and weighs 25-30 pounds. -Very social, loves everyone she meets -Leash trained -Working on crate training. Sleeps in crate overnight, but makes messes from time to time. -Loves to play with other dogs -Loves to play in her water -Does have some "excitement pee", she dribbles a bit. Meet Peter!Peter is a very quiet, sweet, mild mannered boy. He spent his first 2 years of life in a shelter, so he`s a bit timid to new people and experiences at first, but he warms up with time. He is looking for an adopter with a quieter home, who is willing to work with him as he learns the outside world isn`t so scary. He has been making excellent progress and has been going for daily walks and rides in the car. He loves snuggling on the couch and being close to his person, and is enjoying learning all about dog toys!Peter was raised with his siblings, and does well with even his very small foster siblings. He would benefit from a home with another dog as he gains confidence. He plays very gently and takes his lead from the other dogs. He is medium to low energy. He has little spurts of playtime, & silliness but is mostly a Netflix & chill kind of guy! Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. Hi, I'm Kesha! I am a classy Rottweiler looking for my forever family! Now let me tell you a little about myself.... I was found out on the streets, skinny and sad with these HUGE marks all around my muzzle :( It is obvious to the rescuers that I had been bound around my mouth/muzzle for an extended point of time..... no words can express how sad and heartbroken this makes my rescue peeps feel, cause I am the BESTEST girl! Loving and smart and GREAT with EVERYONE I meet!! I have puppy-dog brown eyes that'll absolutely pull at your heart strings, so careful when I look up at you! I have the ability to melt you into jelly, so get ready to make me your NEWEST family member!! My rescue peeps will be very picky about my forever family, so get ready for the grilling :) BUT I AM SO SO WORTH IT. I have a LOVE for food that exceeds all others. I have been internally starving so long because my pancreas wasn't producing the enzymes my body needs to digest and use the nutrients in the foods I was eating........... Sooooo, I am starving and the time and no one better come into my food space (other dogs). We have had no problems at the rescue since she is kenneled to eat. Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! I am GhostBuster and I have a neat, sad and then happy story to tell you... So hang on for the ride!! But realize my NEXT BEST CHAPTER can include you!! In the sweltering heat I was blessed enough to CHOOSE the Post Office to hang out in. I was there for months, and no one could get me...and they tried but they deliver MAIL, not SAVE DOGS for a living..:) The Post Master knew about a local rescue, and they tried to help me too...then I was hit by a car and injured... AND I found a girlfriend and she was my lucky break, literally. The Police Department was finally able to save us and away we went to the rescue! My sweet girlfriend, Avian, was adopted before me, but I believe this is MY TIME!! Here is what my rescue friends describe me.."GhostBuster is always happy to see you, his eyes shine, tail wags, and his energy boosts whenever he sees his favorite people! He has the subtle markings of a Rottweiler or a Doberman and the temperament of a lab. He had an injured hip when saved but he has had surgery and has had his heartworms treated. During all this time he has started to know what a kind hand is like, some love, and real food!
