Story
Nova is a big beautiful girl, weighing in at over 100 pounds. She was surrendered due to divorce with her sister Roxy. They get along well but they are not a bonded pair. Nova is the alpha of the 2 even though she is the younger and smaller of the 2. She does well with some dogs, but due to her size, caution needs to be exercised during the introduction. She is very enthusiastic on a leash and is a heavy puller. She is extremely sweet with people but is shy upon first meet and will often hide behind a mouth full of toys for security. Absolutely NO CATS.   If you would like to meet any of our pets, they are available for viewing, every single day from noon until 3:30pm. Calling before a long drive is recommended to confirm availability. Ripley County Humane Society, 1202 W County Rd 150 N, Osgood, IN 47037. 812-689-3773 ##2060261##

Story
Hi my name is Mick and I am around 5 years old. I am not sure of strangers but once we become friends you can't get rid of me. I am selective of my doggy friends and I need a home without cats. I love to play with toys especially rope toys and stuffed animals. I haven't had a lot of socialization but I am hoping to find an owner who will help me overcome my fears. If your interested in adopting me go to www.libertyacresunited.com or call/text 765-969-4782. Hello my name is Rocky. I am 5 months old. I enjoy going for walks, getting treats and playing with toys. I walk really good on a leash so if you like to go for walks or jogs I am your boy. I love to get my belly rubbed and give kisses. I know the command sit and shake. The staff here is always telling me what a pretty boy I am and that they hope my special someone will come in to adopt me soon.

Story
Meet Toby! He is a 6.5 year old, 72 pound Rottweiler/Hound mix. This big ol' teddy bear is ready to become the center of your life! Toby is all around a great dog. He is potty trained, leash trained, loves to play with other dogs, friendly with small kids up to grown adults. He is fostered with a 5lb dog up to 40 lbs and has done wonderfully. Need to leave Toby for a few hours? He does fine outside of a crate when not at home. Plus, he knows commands! Toby knows how to sit and give paw, and is learning even more with time. He has the most amazing bellow of a hound and will tell you when someone is at the door. His favorite things are going for car rides and walks. What is stopping you from adopting the best boy! Toby is currently being fostered in Cincinnati, OH. His adoption fee is $275. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
