Xena just turned 1 years old in February. We love her dearly but we feel like she’d be better off in a home with more active owners. I am also unemployed and cannot keep up with her expenses. Xena is very bubbly and is a good friend. She would make a great service dog with professional training. Every time I cry with her in the room, she’ll come cuddle me to comfort me. She loves playing with other dogs but you must feed her separately from them, as she likes to steal and fight over food.

Story

Makeda is the sweetest dog with personality, attentiveness, warmth and playfulness. I adopted her from a shelter in July of 2024 when I was only working part time. Since mid-February I have transitioned to full-time and I do not like the crate her for so long during the day. I don't think it's fair to her. She loves snacks, hugs, face cream, a good brushing, does well at doggy day care & is sometimes used as the barometer to test the temperament of other dogs in order to play. She is a great dog guard. She would be perfect for someone who is retired, works part time or works from home. She needs work in the area of dog walking, as she is playful and pulls sometimes while walking her. She normally uses the bathroom in the yard and I pick up after her, on walks she does not use the bathroom. She's only done that once while camping. She's a good girl and my hope is that she would go to a good home with an owner or family who will really love and take care of her. :)

Im reaching out for assistance with rehoming our dog Reese aka Reesey, aka Reesel. With the addition to our family being born recently, we've come to a realization that we just don't have enough time to care for Reesey like we should. He's a super good boy, we brought him home from Haven for Hope when I was at Intake about 11 months ago so I believe he's close to 13 months old by now. He's very playful but not hyperactive, crate trained, and loves to play fetch. It would be nice if we could rehome him to a loving family that would have time for him and show him all the love and affection he deserves. I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. In the sweltering heat I was blessed enough to CHOOSE the Post Office to hang out in.
