Story
Meet Barkley! He is about 9 weeks old and our best guess for breed is Rottweiler/Shar Pei mix. He was a bottle baby from the city shelter who had aspirated and had pneumonia. We were able to take him in and get him healthy and he’s ready to find his forever home! This little guy is full of energy, curiosity, and love. He’s always ready to play or romp around the yard, or explore new places—if there’s something to sniff, Barkley is all over it! When he’s not playing, you’ll find him happily chowing down on his favorite treats (this guy loves to eat!). Barkley is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, and he can’t wait to meet the family who will give him all the love and attention he deserves. He loves other dogs and will make an amazing companion for anyone looking for an energetic, loving pup. Barkley is located in Texas. His adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, neuter and current of flea/tick and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Barkley please complete the adoption application at the link below. Story
Manny is a gorgeous 1-2 year old all American mix! He came to a local shelter as a stray so we have no idea what he could possibly be mixed with, our guess is your best guess! We are thinking lab, rottweiler, terrier mix. All to make 100% good boy! Manny almost didnt make it out of the shelter which would be a shame because he is the sweetest dog ever! Manny loves everyone and is doing great with the kids in his foster home. Manny is a happy and playful guy and would love a playmate in his next home! If you are interested in adopting Manny please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. Manny is being foster in Huntsville, AL.

Story
Do you love Rottweilers? Do you love a good walking partner? Do you love giving ear scratches or belly rubs? Then you might be a fit for me, Sadie Lou Who. I`m around 55 lbs, and a medium to high energy girl that loves play time and long walks! I do get excited when I play, so I prefer children over the age of 10 and no cats in my home. I can be dog selective, but that`s only because I want the perfect playmate, so I just need a proper introduction, then we are off to play! I`ve got the best butt wiggles when I`m excited and I am very treat motivated!I`m looking for the right family to take me home and love me, but eager to learn some new tricks! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $500All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an online application at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Hello! I`m a big goofy guy who is extremely food-motivated. I would prefer a home with no cats, and no small kids as I can be quite the lap dog at a whopping 80lbs! I`ve had good dog interactions but would need proper testing with any pup you may have! My preferred home is someone with working breed experience as I live up to the rottweiler breed standard. Story
Meet Lenny! Lenny is a goofy boy who loves his people and loves a good game of fetch. Lenny lives up to his Rottweiler tendencies so he would do best with a home that has done research on the breed. Lenny knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’. Lenny does have some quirks which can be discussed with potential adopters. Lenny’s preferred home would be with kids older than 13+ and can respect his boundaries. Lenny is still awaiting a foster or forever home, so his housetrained skills are unknown. Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 11/17/24 Dog Name: Peter Sex: Male Neuter Status: Neutered Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix Approximate Age: 1.5 Years Approximate Weight: 56 lbs Adoption Fee: $300 Description: Hi! They call me Peter and I am looking for my furever home! I am quite quiet, but when I do talk, it is to respond to my very favorite question - 'Do you want to go outside?' I love going for walks and looking at all there is to see. Sometimes it is a bird or a cat or even deer. Then the next time I get to go out, I will be on the lookout for them. I enjoy stretching my legs by going for walks and runs. I am housebroken and crate-trained. I like to chew on and fetch a braided rope and squeaky toys. Bones are fun too as long as there is something yummy in them. I sit for my supper and when you hook the leash onto my harness. I take treats nicely and I don't react to the doorbell. I like other dogs and as long as you are watching me, I am fine with an easy tempered cat. I am a people lover! Once I warm up to a new person, I will be your sidekick, couch snuggler, and foot warmer if you let me on your bed. Who wouldn't want that? This sweet boy is playful and loves affection! I am searching for my family! Could that be with you?        We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 2, 2025, 10:54 pm

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 12/18/2024 Dog Name: Cannoli (formerly Jemma) Sex: Female Litter: GJ Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix  Approximate DOB: 3/3/24 Approximate Weight: 45 lbs. Spay Status: She's already been spayed Description: Cannoli is from a litter that was born in Texas (parents are in the photos). She was adopted soon after arriving in Wisconsin at about 2 months old. She lived most of her life so far in a home with 3 other dogs and a cat. She's good with other dogs and playful with cats. One specific dog in her previous adopters home wasn't a fan of her, which is why we are looking to find her a new home.  She enjoys chewing on bones, wrestling her doggo brothers, and cuddling with and getting attention from her humans. She's great with people, but we think she would do best in a home where everyone is 10+ years old.  She knows 'sit,' 'stay,' and 'down.' When going for a walk she will pull a little bit but does well when walking with other dogs. She's potty trained, but will potty a little bit when she gets excited. Cannoli is also used to being crated while her humans are away. Overall she's a sweet girl that would be a great addition to families with older kids and or cats! Could your home be the right one for her? Adoption Fee: $300.00We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time.
