Atticus Finch was a lawyer in the novel 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. Of course I'm not a lawyer but if I was, I'd make a great one! Lawyers have to be charismatic with their clients along with the people in court and boy do I have that down pat!! Everyone loves me and I love everyone, big people or the smaller versions and I also do great with other pups. I am a calm and snuggly soul that just wants to be with my person(s). I'm around 2 years old and love playing with the other foster pups here but I also love a good game of 'Tag' or 'Catch Me If You Can' with my people. My favoritest thing is getting ear scratches while I lay my head on your chest. Snuggles and ear scratches, what could be better?!! I come in at around 70ish lbs but that doesn't stop me from saving room for you on the couch for those beloved snuggles! Calm, loveable, playful and snuggly....some great traits for me to be a pawsome family addition even for that first time pet parent!!! I came to WCHS as a stray so my history is a bit of a mystery but one thing that is no puzzle is what a friendly gal I am. I am outgoing and tolerant but I do prefer my canine playmates to be calm and polite; I have enjoyed playgroups at the shelter and am not pleased with crazy and rambunctious dogs. Speaking of manners, I must confess that I could use some training on that front. I will greet you when you approach but have been known to jump up on folks when I say ‘hi'. I am an active girl and love to go on walks with people but tend to pull a bit on a leash, so I guess I could use some practice on that as well. I am smart and already know the cues for ‘sit', ‘down' and ‘shake/paw'. It would be lovely to take some classes with you because mental exercise is important to me too. Perhaps we could participate in obedience, rally, canine sports or nose work. I am affectionate and playful; a real lap-lover who would enjoy snuggle sessions after a day filled with fun. I promise to be loyal and think I could fill your home with love. I hope you stop by to meet me in person because I like to expand my circle of friends and think you will find me impressive.#1
