Merrie is a beautiful, 2-year-old, Schnauzer/Terrier mix that weighs 26lbs. A great small/medium-size pup! She is a sweet, affectionate, and playful little mamma who recently gave birth to puppies. Her pups have found their forever homes and now it's Merrie turn. She loves disemboweling stuffies, walks around the neighborhood, belly rubs, zoomies, snuggling on the couch, naps, and is a chill, quiet work from home side kick! She is a great balance of playful and mellow. At bedtime, Merrie would love to snuggle up near you if you'll let her. Merrie figured out the doggy door at his fosters house within minutes and has done great with potty training. She is a total sweetheart who would benefit from a daily routine, structure and training to help her continue to build confidence. She is eager to please and happy to learn!  Merrie gets along well with other dogs and older kids who are ok with her playful energy (her foster family includes 2, 7-year-olds and Merrie does great with them). The best fit for Merrie would be with an active, loving family/person who will love her and help her be the best family member she can be. She's quite the little character and will make a very loyal furry sidekick. She is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is gonna be a great family member. Her adoption fee is $300.00 and helps the organization cover spay costs, vaccinations, medical treatment, food and supplies. ♥ All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to  www.secondchancedogrescue.org  and complete an application today!    All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.  August 19, 2024, 6:12 pm

He is an energetic guy who needs to get daily exercise. Chowder loves to play with chew toys and fetch a ball.   He is an outgoing boy who would do best in a home with no small children due to his rambunctious temperament. He needs to be with an experienced dog handler who can work with him on further training of the basic commands.  He gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit too assertive as he wants to play even if they don't want to be engaged.  Chowder rides well in the car, sleeps well in a kennel or corral and is house trained with access to outside.  He is up to date on his vaccines, neutered and microchipped. His Adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Story
Mia is the most loving baby. She’s 7 months old and was gifted to us at 1 month. As mentioned, she’s still little and tends to like to teeth on items but teething toys are her best friends. She is absolutely playful! A bit shy and scared at first with other humans but when approached with love, she begs for attention. She’s been raised around our other dog, Belgian malinois, and they are inseparable. Also has been raised around 4 adults, two kids, and a baby. Mia is trained to pee on her mats around our home and is obedient when taken to the park and off the leash. We will be moving away ends of October where pets are not allowed and we need to find a forever home for her. This is very tough on my family and would love for Mia to be well taken care of in her new home.
