Scottish Fold kittens & cats in Waterbury, Connecticut

Claire is 3 years and 8 months old. She’s was born July 13th, 2021. She has no known allergies, has been spayed and is up to date on vaccines. I’m willing to transfer vet records to adopter’s vet. She’s suspected to be a Scottish Fold mix, she does not have the characteristic folded ears, but shares other physical traits with the breed. She’s a very sweet girl. She can be very skittish, but once she warms up to you, she’ll be crawling all over you for pets and attention. She does not do well with other cats and is generally defensive/aggressive towards them. Young children and dogs tend to scare her. Claire would do best in a quiet home with no other pets and no young children.

Found in an abandoned apartment left behind without her family. We found her hidden in the torn out bottom of a couch starving.

I’m all set and ready to find my forever home—I’m neutered, microchipped, up to date on all my vaccinations, and I’m happy to report that I’m FIV/FLV negative! My foster mama describes me as the sweetest little baby, and I must say, I think she’s onto something! I can be a bit timid and easily startled by new things, which means I might take some time to warm up to you. I’d do best in a calm and quiet environment where I can feel safe and secure. That said, I’m doing wonderfully in my bustling foster home! It’s just a matter of us taking our time together; I might need a little space before I come over to you for some loving pets. In fact, just last night, I took a big step and cuddled up on the couch for the very first time! It felt amazing! Now, I have to admit, I can be a bit cautious around the dogs in my foster home. But don’t worry! I’m not terrified of them; I just like to take my time figuring out if they’re friends or foes. Once I feel comfortable, I know we can all hang out together! I do get along with other kitties famously though! And kids? I have a preference for the older kiddos, but younger kiddos with kitty savviness would be even better.  Oh, and here’s a fun little quirk about me—I can be quite the playful rascal! If I ever feel like I’m not getting enough attention, I might give you a cheeky ankle bite to let you know I’m ready for some love! It’s all in good fun, of course, and I promise I mean no harm. I just really crave those moments of connection! While I get along well with everyone, I think I’d thrive best in a quieter home where I can truly relax and feel at ease. But don’t worry; that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate having friends around! I love the company, and I’m ready to share my sweet personality with the right family.
