Story
Romeo's estimated DOB is: August, 2009. We're looking for an experienced cat owner to be Romeo's special person. Romeo is a friendly and affectionate guy. He will follow you around from room to room and is very loving. He likes to be in your lap. He has the personality of a Turkish Angora and soft bunny hair. He is the kind of cat that does not hide when there are visitors and comes out to visit. However there are times when he can be kind of a DIVA and lash out when he is overstimulated and done with affection. So small children are not recommended. He is still very playful and loves toys that move, like mice on wheels, little fluff balls etc. He would love to have an owner that would allow him to sleep in bed with them and be on their lap a lot. Romeo lives with big, medium and little dogs, has lived with other cats in the past. He does have a tendency to pick on other cats depending on their personality. Romeo needs to eat wet food at least once a day. Currently he eats Fancy Feast Broths and dry food in the morning. At night he gets a half of a small can of wet food. Romeo tests positive for FIV. Please don't let his condition scare you away - FIV kitties can lead long, normal and healthy lives simply by being kept indoors, receiving good nutrition and care, and getting annual veterinarian check-ups – all things that every cat should receive. FIV is difficult to transfer to other cats and the primary transmission route is through a deep bite wound. It is not an airborne disease nor is it contagious through shared food dishes, litter boxes or grooming. You can learn more about the FIV virus by going to http://fivcats.com .Now that Romeo is becoming a senior kitty, he has had some health issues. However they are easily manageable and his foster Mom would be happy to discuss. We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Story
Meet Demmi and Danni, two beautiful sisters who have been patiently waiting for their forever home for over four years and ten months (that's a staggering 1787 days). Despite their undeniable charm and beauty, these lovely felines have been consistently overlooked time and time again. While over 100's of their foster siblings have found their loving families, Demmi and Danni have yet to receive a single adoption application. But why have they struggled to find a home, you may ask? The answer lies in their shy nature. Demmi and Danni are in need of a patient and understanding family who is willing to invest the time and effort to show them that they are safe and loved. They yearn for a quiet and peaceful home environment, ideally with someone who is looking to adopt bonded sisters and has no other pets. While it's understandable that many people are drawn to the adorable cuddliness of kittens, adopting these resilient sisters would be a truly rewarding experience. The joy that comes from giving two shy cats a chance to flourish, watching them grow to trust and believe that you are there for them, is immeasurable. By opening your heart and home to Demmi and Danni, you will not only be saving them but also providing them with a lifetime of love and companionship that they so deserve. We kindly ask you to share their story far and wide. Together, let's make it possible for these extraordinary sisters to find the loving home they have been patiently waiting for. With the collective effort of compassionate individuals like yourself, we can make a difference in Demmi and Danni's lives and bring them the happiness they so deeply deserve. We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area.
