Scottish Fold kittens & cats in Cornelius, Oregon

Our pet Katinka is the sweetest cat. After getting a mystery illness after having a majority of her teeth removed, she started urinating on the flat ground. We did have her on antibiotics for a month and her dizziness subsided. It was assumed she had an inner ear infection, then possibly a staff infection after her short stay with the vet. We have tried multiple litter boxes, different litters and have moved them around for convenance. We cannot figure out why she dislikes the litter box. We have a busy house with kids and if a towel is left on the ground, she will urinate on it. We have tried giving her to adoption agencies and no one is taking cats currently. She also stopped bathing herself, so she needs weekly baths. She loves affection and her people. She is not fond of playing, especially with her daughter who has more energy than her. She loves sleeping with people and sitting on your lap and has a very prominent purr.

Chai is a gentle girl with a sweet demeanor and impeccable manners. She can be shy at first but with some patience she’ll be asking for pets and snuggles in no time. She loves treats, kicker/wand/catnip toys, and grooming her brother. She’s done great with her canine foster sister, so sharing a home with well-mannered dogs should be just fine. Chai is a perfect angel who does a great job at balancing out her chaotic brother. Chai and Ronald are bonded siblings and must be adopted together.

Our 7 year old grey and white short-haired little lady is ready for her next chapter with a new home!  Stormy lost her favorite senior person prior to the Holidays and needs a new person to love and care for.   Stormy loves to engage in play with catnip toys and likes scratching posts! Stormy will purr loudly when getting into play time. She loves a good head scratch and pets, but isn’t a fan of being picked up and held. She will join you for lap cuddles when you watch TV or read.   Her fur coloring inspired her name but like a storm she will always give you a warning to adjust your plans of belly pets - not her favorite! Stormy does well around other cats but "no thank you" to dogs or small children.   She has had vaccines, a recent dental and is "ready to go" to her new life.  Rehoming fee is $50.  Stormy lives with her foster mom in Hillsboro.  Her adoption fee Includes spay, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test.  Stormy has always been an inside/indoor cat.  For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
