Hi there, let me tell you a little about myself. My foster mom calls me Cici, and I like nothing better than hanging with my people at home or going on walks. I walk nicely on a leash and love exploring and sniffing while out. I'm a chill girl and very well-behaved in the home. I do all my pottying outside, and although I don't need to be crated, I will hang out in my crate if you need me to. I sleep in my crate in my foster home and love to lay alongside my people on the couch. I am a gentle girl and take my treats so nicely. I'm a ten-year-old Shar Pei/Boxer mix who is very healthy and weighs around 60 lbs. I'm unsure what it means, but my foster mom always tells me how gorgeous I am. I sound just about perfect, don't I? I like other dogs well enough and don't mind passing them when we walk. I can even play in the yard with some, but I'm not particularly eager to share my space or my things with them, so I'm looking for a forever home where I'm the only dog. I should clarify that I don't mind sharing my things with people; it's just the other dogs I don't want to share with. And cats? Well, my foster Mom says I'm way too interested in cats to be able to share a home with any. I don't have a lot of experience with young children but my foster mom thinks I shouldn't share my home with children under the age of 13-15. What's not to love about me? I'm cute, petite, a super snuggler and I heard some guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which might explain my high prey drive. I love my 4 legged family members in my foster home, but they should probably not be in a farm setting. Also, no cats or rabbits, please. I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained. What I don't do well is walk on a leash. I would need lots of patience and training. I can act very crazy and unruly while on walks, and even scream a bit because I'm over-excited, so teaching me how to redirect/refocus would be my number one priority. I would rather have a home that has a nice, secure, tall fence. That way I won't get the crazies. I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life.
