Story
Rocky is a sweet baby who loves cuddles and sunbathing. He is up today on his rabies and distemper which was done at Petco. His other shots were done at home. Unfortunately I cannot keep my baby due to having to move out of state because of a DV situation. He is good with kids and other animals. I just want to make sure he goes to a good home instead of a shelter. He does have fleas which is causing his skin to be red. I was in the process of treating him when things got really bad.

Purchased from a breeder in 2022. Playful dog who lives with toddlers ages 4 & 6. Has had positive experiences with strangers. Is not a fan of water and needs patient owner to bathe him. House broken and loves the zoomies after being let back in the house. Crate trained but is allowed to sleep and roam the home at night and during day hours alone. Great dog that loves just enough attention and loves naps even more.

Hi, I'm Boulder, a robust and loving brown Pit bull. At 6 years young, I'm a big boy, weighing 97 pounds, but don't let my size fool you—I'm just a gentle giant. I'm neutered and all my shots are up to date, so I'm as healthy as can be. I'm a pro when it comes to house manners and walking on a leash, and I adore people of all ages. I'm the kind of guy who is content to be your shadow, lounging by your side, but I also love to stretch my legs with long walks and a good roll in the grass. My eyes will tell you stories, and my main goal is to make you happy. I enjoy family time, but I'm also independent enough to be fine on my own. Winter's been good to me—I've enjoyed it with a bit of bulking up and lazing about, thanks to my love for peanut butter sandwiches and other snacks. But I am working on slimming back down to my summer body. If you're looking for a loyal companion for walks, picnics, or just some cozy snuggles, look no further. They say there is someone for everyone in this world. And at the Shelter, we like to believe that for our dogs as well. And we cling to that thought for our dogs as it gives us hope. And sometimes, hope is all we have for them.Such is the case with our beloved Odie Cakes. He is an amazing dog - fast, perceptive, adorable, loving and devoted. But, he also is very prey driven. And sometimes, when he gets overexcited, he reacts quickly, without thinking.Odie found a home but the atmosphere was just a bit too much for him. Despite the best efforts of the adopter, he realized he could not slow down the pace of his life enough to calm Odie.The BEST news is that since being back with us, Odie has been fabulous. He loves all the volunteers, he has a pal in our Finn (with just through the fence play) and he greets each day and each person with happiness.Odie's days are very calm and predictable at the Shelter and that's what gives him the calmness and peace he needs. Odie doesn't need constant activities or other dogs - Odie just needs a person who will live life with him in a somewhat boring manner.We know Odie's person is out there somewhere. He is so loved by us all and we want nothing more for him than to live his life in happy home.Please SHARE Odie's story so we can reach as many people as possible - maybe his forever person has been searching for him and just didn't know Odie was waiting at our Shelter!Interested?
