Story
**This dog is eligible for the April Adopt-a-Thon promo! Listed adoption fee will be reduced by $200 for all eligible dogs adopted by 4/30/25.** Hello! My name is Pevine, but my friends call me "Sweet P!" I'm part of the Highway 68 litter: Genesis, Livingston, Miller, Lantana, Maryetta, Pomona, and Pevine! My brother (Livingston) completed a DNA test, and the results came back as 54% poodle, 12% Australian Cattle Dog, and 10% German Shepherd (see full results in photos). All of the pups in my litter have scruffy coats except for my brother, Miller. We'll probably grow the be medium sized dogs.  These sweet babies were found abandoned in a tote bag on the side of the road in East TN when they were just a few days old They were named after roads in the area and dubbed the Highway 68 litter. Pevine is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly. She is a super sweet, loving girl who is so deserving of a furever home of her own (hence the nickname Sweet P)!  She is medically up to date (age appropriate) and working on mastering housebreaking (doing very well!). Apply to meet this sweet girl today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2281325##

Story
Meet Wayne, a handsome 1.5 year old neutered male standard poodle, weighing 47 lbs!  Wayne was surrendered to Paws Rescue League (through no fault of his own) when his owner was no longer able to care for him. His family made sure that he went to a rescue, to be certain Wayne would find his PAWFECT family!  When he came to PRL he had missed his grooming appointment due to family events, he definitely played hard and he was in desperate need of a good trim!  Fast forward to today, and just LOOK at him now! Wayne is a sweet boy who gets along great with other dogs, people, and kids! He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. Fun fact about Wayne: he is fascinated by the TV!   He is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this sweet boy today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable.
