PHYSICAL FENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED What’s black and white and loved all over??? Ha! Ha!! It’s me, silly!! Just like the B&W cookie, I'm the best of both! Hi there, I'm Aaron! A charming 4-year-old Shetland Sheepdog (or Sheltie for short). My coat is as sleek as can be, with a dashing black and white pattern that's sure to turn heads. But it's not just my looks that make me special - I'm a total joker at heart! I love making my humans laugh and will often do just about anything to get a belly rub or a treat. As a Sheltie, I'm naturally smart, loyal, and loving. I thrive on attention and interaction, so a family who can spend quality time with me would be paw-fect! I love my humans sooo much that I want to be the only pup to ensure I get all their attention. I would like a fence to freely romp but since I love my peoples so much it’s not likely for me to go far from your side. Cats? Nope, Chickens? Nope. If you're looking for a furry friend who will bring joy, laughter, love and cuddles into your life, I'm your guy. Let's get to know each other and see if we're a match made in heaven! If Aaron strikes your fancy and you are ready to help him continue to be the best Sheltie citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today! Don't wait! And if Aaron isn’t your cup of tea, we have many more pups of all ages coming in weekly. Please visit https://tristatecollierescue.org/how-to-adopt/ to complete the adoption application. Aaro is being fostered in Ohio If you are interested in this dog; and wish additional information, you MUST submit an application on our website. Once we receive your application, an interviewer will call you and try to answer any additional questions you may have. In order to continue our rescue efforts and help more dogs, we require an adoption donation ranging from $75 - $500, depending on the age, breed and the expenses incurred on the individual dog. Our application can be found at http://www.tristatecollierescue.org/ under the adopt tab. Thank you.

This little guy is absolutely precious and darn near perfect !! Sad story. His owner was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer so he asked his vet to find a wonderful home for Tuk. And that's just what we aim to do. This little guys is approx 3-4 years old, neutered, completely house trained and leash trained. He's very good with people, kids and other dogs. Loves to lay in his kennel for comfort . Bonds very quickly with his people . Currently he's in a foster home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted he will travel on transport to his new forever family ( transport is an additional $185) if you would like to make Tuk a part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.almosthomeohio.org and complete our online application! Brys hasn’t been told that at a year and a half he’s not really a puppy any more. He’s having such a blast at his foster mom’s! He loves meeting new dogs because they represent new play opportunities. Brys is hesitant about strangers and observes them before deciding to meet them. For now, it’s better to be calm and let him go to new people when he’s ready, which is typically fairly quickly. Once he does know his person, he’s a true sidekick type of dog. He isn’t demanding and loves nothing more than being with his person. He loves to play (running fast is his favorite activity). He’d be very happy and very good at agility and/or herding activities. Brys needs an outlet for his youthful energy. He sleeps a lot throughout the day but is very active in the morning and late afternoon/evening, so he needs a healthy outlet to burn this energy off. As his foster mom has said, Brys is either totally calm or going at Mach 5. The key to getting him to calm down is to head for the sofa. Let him cuddle while you give belly and chest rubs—he absolutely loves it. A music lover, Brys also chills out to smooth jazz and meditation tunes. Brys isn’t just gorgeous, he’s smart too. He’s even invented his own “capture the flag” game. Brys’ game involves him getting a toy or shoe and proudly trotting around to show off his catch to his foster mom like he’s just scored a big win. He’s very good at “leaving it” before ever being told. He knows he can’t keep what he’s found. He’s not out to destroy it—he just enjoys the challenge of “capturing” it and the pride of showing it off. Brys’ foster mom has many more stories she can’t wait to share; or better yet, if you’re looking for a right-hand companion, meet Brys for yourself and see what a fantastic boy he is. Story
To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.almosthomeohio.org and complete our online application!Lightening is around 3 yrs old Lightning is an incredibly cute sheltie. He takes a moment when meeting new dogs and new people, but then he is interested in making their acquaintance. Lightning loves to play hide-and-seek inside if the weather doesn’t permit a walk. He also enjoys fetch with a stuffy inside. In fact, he loves to retrieve during outside and inside playtimes. Lightning’s foster mom says he loves her dogs including her large collie. He watches their cat interestedly but is respectful. Her birds and Lightning coexist happily. This sweetie was recently neutered, so he is still a bit hormonal. That should ease up soon, however. Lightning is learning commands and settling in at his foster’s while he waits for his forever home.
