Story
Pickles Bee is a good boy who is in need of a loving home. He is a sheltie and about six-years-old. Pickles is a 30 pounds and a neutered male who has been surrendered by his owners. He has been shy since being surrendered. He needs some time to adjust to his new life, but he is very sweet and playful and will likely blossom in a new home. He loves to sit on laps and snuggle up! He has previously lived with other dogs and gets along with them well. He is a shy boy who would thrive in a quiet home, and would appreciate a slow introduction to his new family. Pickles was recently groomed and the groomer just gushed over how sweet and well behaved he was for her! Pickles is Perfect!
Interested in becoming a forever home for Pickles? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application.
If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Pickles.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Pickles the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.**
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
