Meet Griffin! Griffin is a 4-year-old, 30-pound male sheltie mix from Texas!
He’s a sweet, scruffy 4-year-old Sheltie mix with a heart as big as his fluffy coat. Currently weighing in at 30 pounds, Griffin is on a fitness journey and making great progress. With a little continued support, he’ll be well on his way to reaching a healthy 20 pounds and living his best, most active life.
Griffin is housetrained and has quickly adjusted to his foster family’s routine. Aside from one small accident on his very first day, he’s been completely accident-free. He’s also great on the leash—he doesn’t pull, but he does like to take his time sniffing everything around him, always curious about the world.
When it’s time to wind down, Griffin is a total pro in his crate. Whether it’s bedtime or just a quiet break while his foster family runs an errand, he settles in with no fuss. He sleeps soundly through the night and is often spotted on the Furbo peacefully napping like a little prince.
Griffin currently lives with a large foster brother, Gunner, an 80-pound Bernerdoodle. It’s been an adjustment, and Griffin can get a little spicy if Gunner gets overly excited, but he’s learning how to share space and coexist with other pups.
He hasn’t had the chance to meet children while in foster care, but with his calm nature and cuddly, fluffy exterior, we have no doubt he’d be a hit with kids. Griffin is playful, curious, and full of love. He’ll shower you with affection every single day and is ready to be someone’s perfect best friend.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion with a little sparkle and a lot of heart, Griffin just might be your guy.
Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, lepto, and bordetella. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
