Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Halo, and I’m as sweet as they come! If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate pup who just needs a little extra patience, I might be the perfect match for you. My favorite things are cuddles, quiet walks with my dog friends, and tasty treats—I’m very food motivated! I get along great with other dogs and even the cat in my foster home. Having a confident dog sibling would really help me feel more secure as I continue to build my confidence. I can be shy and anxious, especially with new people and busy environments, so a calm predictable home would be best for me. I’m nervous around new people, especially men, and so I need some time and patience to warm up. But, once I do, I love to give cuddles and lots of kisses! I also get nervous around visitors, so I’ll need a quiet space to retreat to when new people come over. I’m crate trained and I do like to chew, especially on cords and shoes, so I should be crated when left alone! I have a playful side, too! I get the zoomies sometimes and love a good romp with my dog friends. Playing and stimulation is really important for me- otherwise I get bored and eat my foster mom’s shoes! I am still a puppy after all. I enjoy daily walks with my dog friends, but a quiet walking area is best for me so I don’t get overwhelmed. With time, love, and stability, I promise to be the most loyal companion and give you lots of love and kisses in return! If you’re looking for a sensitive, loving pup who just needs a little extra care, I’d love to meet you! Halo is from Texas.
