Story
This is Dixie, she is a sweet 7 year old Shepard/Lab mix. We got her when she was 2yrs old but now I am having to move back to California into a studio apartment and cannot take her with me. She LOVES her people and is a great home protector. She loves kids and other dogs as long as they are small breed or beta. She is good with cats if you make sure she knows that cat is part of the family. If she sees a stray though she will chase it away. She was adopted from a shelter, and I was not given a lot of information on her background, but I think there was a lot of domestic abuse at her former home because she does NOT like it when people wrestle, or tickle attack each other. She will bark very high pitched as to ask you to stop but if it continues and she feels like her person is in danger she will let you know to back off. Dixie loves to be near you whenever she can. She loves to think she's a lap dog and is a very good listener. She knows stay, sit, shake, go lay down and out.
