Story
This is Sam, a 5-year-old dog with some specific needs. He was my service dog in training until I retired him over a year ago, and he has since been living with a nice family. However, they are no longer able to care for him, and I am unable to take him back until I graduate in December. I am open to him being adopted by someone who can provide him with the care and attention he needs. Sam has some food aggression and recall issues, and he can be an escape artist. He has a high prey drive, especially when it comes to chicken and squirrels, and he is not suited for homes with young children. He does well with cats if introduced properly, and he is house trained and good indoors, but he does need regular exercise. Despite his issues, Sam is a playful and attentive dog, and he was excellent as a service dog in public places. He is not destructive, but he does love his toys.

Story
I adotped Duke last October. I would say he's about 2.5 years old. He is crate trained. Ideally he would need someone with a decent size back yard to run off all the energy this little guy has. He would also benefit from someone with experience in German shepards. I believe he would be great for a family with other kids (8+) as he is a boy who loves to play! He does well with larger dogs and cats. Small dogs I'm unsure of. He absolutely loves fetching tennis balls and playing tug of war with rope toys. Duke is a cuddly guy who loves treats!
