❗Current location: in a private shelter in South Korea❗ Meet Philip 👋 This adorable pup was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea, in January 2022 when he was just 2 months old. He and his siblings were sent to a high-kill city pound, where they faced an uncertain fate. Thankfully, HDS Rescue stepped in and brought them to safety at a private shelter. Ever since then, Philip has been waiting for his chance to experience the warmth of a loving home. He’s ready to thrive and can’t wait to meet his forever family! • Personality: Gentle, Calm, Friendly Philip is as easygoing as they come! He’s friendly with new faces, including men and children, and adapts quickly to new environments. He’s a sweet, social pup who will melt your heart. Calm and gentle, he’s not one to bark unnecessarily. • Affinity with - Dogs: Great with other dogs - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Gentle and calm when saying hello to children on walks • Walking Manners: Philip is a leash pro—he’s gentle and follows his handler’s lead beautifully. • Separation Anxiety: None. • Housetrained: He’ll need some potty training, but with regular walks, he’s very likely to prefer doing his business outside. • Bathing/Brushing: Not tested but he would tolerate them well • Barks/Howls: No • Car Sickness: On his first car ride, he did great! No drooling or signs of stress, and he’ll only get better with more experience. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 6-7 • Likes/Dislikes: Philip loves treatos and enjoys greeting humans for pets and attention.

Meet Phoebe❣️ She had been at Korean city shelter for a long time without a single adoption request. She kept looking at everyone who passed by her kennel, as if pleading to rescue her and trying to get over the fence. An Adogs volunteer saw her do this many times and requested her rescue. * With People: Really likes people and enjoys being pet. An affectionate dog! * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Is getting along well with the other dog at the Center.

Meet Xiaoba: Your New Best Friend! Xiaobao is a healthy, 8-year-old Shiba Inu who still has the energy of a pup. He was spayed and vaccinated, super friendly with people and kids, and loves to play. As an independent thinker, he understands you but likes to do things his way, so patience is key! He is great with people but needs space from other dogs during walks. He might be a fighter when he meet other dogs. Due to family allergies and a pregnancy, we are looking for a loving home for Xiaobao. If you have time, love, and energy to share, he is ready to join your family!

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Daji💕 * With People: Likes people but is timid, requiring a slow and gentle approach. May hide from strangers out of fear, though she becomes comfortable around familiar people. Is occasionally startled by loud noises, and hides briefly but comes out quickly afterward. * With Dogs: Is shy around unfamiliar dogs and may hide when approached. However, she got along with familiar friends while at the Adogs Center. * Separation Anxiety: Handles being alone well! Providing toys or nose work activities can keep her entertained during solo time. * Potty Training: Does potty with 90% accuracy! Prefers outdoor potty for defecation and is improving her indoor training every day. * Walks: Does well on walks, except when cars or motorcycles approach. Pulls a little bit on the leash due to her curious nature so is undergoing training. * Hygiene: Is afraid of loud noises from the shower or dryer but relaxes with reward treats afterward. Accepts brushing when rewards are involved but otherwise finds it bothersome. Is calm during nail trims when done gradually. * Car Sickness: Generally doesn’t get car sick but may vomit slightly in rough rides or poorly driven vehicles. 💌Special Notes💌 * As a puppy, she may require training for separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling, and barking. * It is difficult to predict her shedding and growth size as her parents are unknown. * Has learned the “sit” command! * Barks to ask for playtime and whines to go outside when she needs to poop. * Caution is necessary on walks because she is afraid of cars and motorcycles. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Bogeul💘 When Bogeul was brought to Koren city shelter, she spent time in a confined cage with puppies that she didn't know. Bogeul, who would have been struggling alone without a mom and siblings, had a hard time surviving the winter, so she was hurriedly rescued. * Interaction with people: When she sees a familiar person, she wags her tail and wants to be touched, but when the person hugs her, she freezes. * Interaction with dogs: She got along very well with other dogs when she was at the center. * Potty Training: She made a lot of mistakes in the first two days, but now she's perfect on the pee pad. (She's too young to walk outside because she's still vaccinated.) * Bogeul tends to be easily scared, so it would be preferred to approach her carefully.
