Story
Hi, I'm Foxy, a senior Shiba Inu with the classic foxy looks that my breed is known for. I may have some special needs when it comes to my vision-I can see better out of one eye than the other-but that doesn't slow me down! I still trot around with confidence, enjoying life and getting where I need to go. I'm housebroken and have great manners, so I'd love to find a cozy home where I can relax and enjoy my golden years instead of being in the shelter. If you're looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who's still full of spirit, I'd love to be part of your family!Complete the adoption application on our website and make your appointment to meet Foxy today. We have appointments available daily except Monday. Call the shelter with questions: 609-309-5214. Primary Color: Tan Weight: 15.125 Age: 7yrs 3mths 2wks

Story
**Located in Korea** Meet Glinda! She is surely going to be pop-u-lar! Rescue Story: As a puppy, she went home with a family that had four children. The kids begged to have a dog and, without any preparation, they family decided to adopt. As she grew, she began to shed, and the children became frightened. They decided to tie her up in the parking lot and left her there, neglected, for two years. The family that adopted her said that they couldn't take her with them when they moved, so she was abandoned in a parking lot and was unfortunately infected with heartworm (which has since been cured!) More About Glinda: Energy Level (1-10): 6.5 3 Keywords: Playful, Affectionate, Smart She barks when strangers visit, and sometimes barks as if she's talking when she wants something - a great communicator! When she goes for a walk, she gets scared when motorcycles or loud cars pass by. She's afraid of machine noises. However, she walks well without pulling on the leash. Despite her fear of loud noises when walking, her foster thinks she would do just fine living in the city. Favorite Things: She enjoys sniffing around and exploring! Apply to make Glinda your fateful sidekick today! ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States. ##1843734##

Story
Meet Bomi💕 Bomi was rescued from Korean city shelter along with her 7 babies. Her 7 puppies found their respective foster/forever homes and Bomi has been waiting for her family. * She has a lovable smile and soft cappuccino coat that makes her even more beautiful. 💕 * Separation anxiety : None * Potty training : Outdoor potty 100%. She always does her business at the same spot. * Energy Level (1~10): Lv. 1-2 * She is weary of strangers :( She is timid but she is happy to see people she knows and approaches with wagging tail.🥰 * She doesn’t bark when she sees other dogs. She slowly comes up to them. * She didn't bark and was quiet when she had guests at home. She didn't approach strangers just by observing them from afar, but she didn't bark. * She took a while to warm up to the other dogs at the foster home. * She is very timid girl. Needs some time to warm up with everything. * Please be patient with her. * Please move slowly and stay quiet as possible until she gets used to staying with you. * Successfully her nail! * She is a very curious girl. Let her explore the new world. * Currently she is practicing walkies. She is getting much better though. She gets scared of the manhole. Continuously needs leash training. * She is not a big fan of bathing, but she waits well until it's done. Pretty good at basic cleaning after walkies. She runs away when she sees the toothbrush but she accepts the situation as soon as it starts. * She prefers not to be held before. She is doing better and better. She doesn't bite. 💙Bomi's foster story 👉 @bomi_adogs

Story
Meet Dana🖤 She was brought to Korean city shelter pregnant and gave birth to 8 puppies. They were rescued all together. While all of well-raised puppies found their forever families and left the Adogs Center, only Dana stayed to wait for her family. * With People: Tends to be shy at first, but opens up quickly if people approach her slowly. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes affectionate and enjoys asking people to pet her. Due to some past trauma, she is a bit afraid of adult men. * With Dogs: Gets along well with her dog friends without any issues, but she may growl with jealousy if another dog intervenes. She is currently undergoing training to manage her anger when a dog friend doesn’t respond to her invitation to play. * Potty Training: Has only outdoor potty breaks at the center. * Growls from time to time when she feels jealous of another dog friend or if the dog ignores her signal to play, so caution is necessary. * Is afraid to be trapped alone in the room, so she needs separation anxiety training from the start.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Gowoon🧡 She gave birth to seven puppies at Korean city shelter and was rescued along with her puppies. While her puppies have all found forever homes, Gowoon still remains at the Center, waiting for her own family. • Interaction with People: Is still not accustomed to human touch. Allows gentle, cautious petting and can manage soft touches but reacts defensively if touched too suddenly. It is necessary to take time to touch her, to which she gets accustomed. • Interaction with Dogs: Gets along well with calm dogs with a similar demeanor and appreciates dogs that approach her gently. • Separation Anxiety: Enjoys her own time and becomes more active when she is alone. • Potty Training: Currently, only practices outdoor potty as she lives at the Center. • Hygiene: Is not yet comfortable bathing or brushing due to her unfamiliarity with human contact. • Walks: Is afraid of hands reaching for her to attach a leash, which has prevented her from going on walks. • Car Sickness: Travels well in a car without any signs of motion sickness. • Is frightened by loud noises and sudden movements. Slow, deliberate movements around her can help her feel more secure and comfortable.

Story
** Current location: in a foster home in South Korea ** • Rescue Story: He was rescued from a high-kill shelter along with his brother in Jan 2023. While his lucky brother found his forever home soon after and has been happily living with his family, Saerom was relinquished twice by his first and second families unfortunately. His former families misunderstood his teething as biting and did not like his appearance. He may have been hurt by them, but is growing as a bright pup in his current foster for the past 10 months and has learned socialization to be ready to find his true forever family. We hope he won't get hurt by humans ever again! • 3 keywords: attached to his owner/ active/ smart • Affinity with - Dogs: Generally good around other dogs! He's been behaving at a dog swimming pool or a dog cafe. - Cats: He lived with a kitten once in the current foster home, and he ended up being sweet and taking care of it :) - Kids: When he was a puppy, he lived with two kids (one elementary schooler, one kindergartener) in his previous foster home and liked playing with them. • Housetrained: uses indoor pee-pads placed in a restroom! • Barks/Howls: Only barks at the doorbell sound. • Walking Manners: He tends to pull a little out of excitement at the beginning of a walk but paces with his walker later on. • Energy Level: mid-high since he is still young! • Appetite: He eats anything well! • Car Rides: He has felt slight car sickness for a long time over 20 minutes. (fine with subway) • Bathing/Teeth Brushing: Good with water itself, but not a fan of a dryer. / Likes doggy toothpaste! No problem with teeth brushing every night! • Likes: plush toys and dog chews! • Commands/Tricks: sit, paw, stay, eat (pound twice on the floor), down, and 'V' • Shedding: 2 during non-shedding seasons and 8 during shedding seasons
