Story
This is dog belonged to a friend of ours. She is approximately two years old. Due to a combination of moving and a family member's involvement in an accident, they are unable to care for her. She is being cared for on a temporary basis. The best option for them is to find her a new home. I am helping to facilitate this process on their behalf.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Suki the beautiful 1 year old, 24 pound Shiba Inu looking for her happily ever after. Suki must be an only dog. While she does well wirh dogs outside of the home, she doesn't do well with them inside the home. She also cannot go to a home with children, and would love a fenced yard to play the day away. She loves playing with toys and really adapted quickly to the household routines. She gets a little sassy about crate time but does go in and settles in quickly. During the day she will follow you around and doesn't get into puppy trouble. She responds well to her name and can be redirected easily. She needs more leash practice and pulls a lot but with time she'd get better. Suki is house trained, know lots of commands, and is superbly trained. Suki is very playful, but loves to snuggle too. Suki is truly a perfect girl as an only child, and we know the right home is waiting for her! To adopt Suki, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, and all the love you can handle! Story
Miss Pennie was actually my brothers dog and we tried to make things work, but we currently have three other dogs and she likes to be the queen of the castle lol. She is the sweetest snuggle bug and gets along amazing with my six year old and 11 year old and all their friends and has never shown any signs of aggression towards any humans. We also have cats and guinea pigs with open cages and have had no problems. She just struggles with some dominance issues with other dogs so would definitely do best in a 1 dog household. She does need a vet visit for sure and has not been spayed yet. She is currently about 8 months old, born 6/23/24 and I can get her purebred paperwork from my brother.

Story
Shilo is my name. Hebrew in origan, Shilo means “Tranquil or Peaceful One”. Right there says it all!    I ann initially Shy and Timid, due to being a breeder surrender and having little socialization with people.  While in Rescue, I’ve grown in personality, playfulness and trust through new experiences provided by a caring volunteer team.   At a healthy 6 years of age, about 30#, I still have spring in my step and like to play with other dogs. I also am calm, well-mannered and seem to be house trained. Heck, I don’t even bark! I am initially shy, hence the name Shilo, and it will take some patience and TLC for me to adjust to a new home and environment. We Shiba Inu’s were initially breed in Japan for hunting.  Just look at my photo, you see hues of Red, Golden, Orange, Chestnut and White with deep dark eyes. Our size and coloration make us look like a well-fed fox! With this said, a 4 foot fence will be required to adopt me for my safety. So, with all the said Positives about me, guess you can see why it’s a POSITIVE to adopt me.   No puppy stage and still years of love left on me. I’m Shilo, and I’m ready for the next chapter of my life! Are you? To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
