Hi hi hi! I'm Kisa! The baby of the family. Don't let my youth and sweet face fool you though. I'm a fierce, toe biting, nose licking machine! I can go so fast. I can still fit under the couch and sneak attack my siblings. I can pee on puppy pads like a pro. I'm the full puppy package! Both my parents are Shiba Inu and while we look like cute little foxes - please do some research on our breed! We are notoriously difficult to train, stubborn and I have already started mastering the Art of Being a Little Whiney when things don't go my way. Some come and chase me! We'll be pals. My foster mom says 'remember to tell them you'll need training, blah blah' but if you're as smart as me, you'll already know that. You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Kisa D.O.B: 11/15/2024 Breed: Shiba Inu Sex: Female Altered: No *Spay contract Adoption: 450 + 100 contract Good with Cats: I'm just a puppy, so I could probably get used to them! Good with Dogs: Yes, I love other dogs! Good with Kids: I'm just a puppy, so I could probably get used to them! Special Requirements: None *Due to their age, each puppy will be adopted with a Spay/Neuter contract. Puppies will require a $100 deposit that will be returned upon proof of Spay/Neuter. *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. It can also help set up a relationship with greater odds of success integrating your new pet into your family. Anyone who provides proof of completed positive reinforcement training will receive a 100 dollar refund from Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc! If you have questions or are wondering if the class you want to take qualifies please reach out! ♥ Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization ##2270720##

Story
My name is Lass and I’m looking for my forever home! I’m 6 y.o. and weigh about 15 pounds. Foster mom says I’m a sweetheart and a very good girl. I’m looking for a quiet, calm forever home where I can have a soft bed to lay in. I love to have a nice human friend to give me pets and head and cheek scritches and goodnight snuggles. I came to my foster home here in Monroe, WI, from a commercial breeding facility where it was my job to make puppies. I’m glad that hard work is over. I’m still learning about what it’s like to live with humans in a home. I’m shy and may not approach for affection, but I love it when my foster mom gets down on the floor with me. I’m learning so much from the other resident dogs here. I enjoy their company. They help me feel safe and are teaching me how to play. I’m a very good girl when my foster family goes out. I’m potty trained I’m actually more relaxed when the humans aren’t around – that’s when I socialize with the other dogs, act silly and chase my tail, and when I eat and drink. But I’m learning that humans can be kind and gentle. I let foster mom pick me up with no worries. I’m learning all kinds of new things here, like walking on a leash. I’m starting to get the hang of it and with some more practice, I’ll be a pro. I would do best in an adult-only forever home. I’m scared of human kids – they move too quickly and their noises scare me and I just freak out and go hide. I have not lived with any cats, but I ignore the guinea pig who lives here. I’m a healthy girl – spayed and vaccinated. My perfect forever home will have a patient person who understands that it may take me a while to relax and feel safe. I’d love to have another dog around to help teach me the ropes, and a securely fenced yard is a must, since I’m still figuring out leash walks. If you live in the Midwest and would like a shy, sweet girl like me to be your companion, visit www.savingshibas.com/adopt to apply to become an approved SIRA adopter. The application process helps SIRA make sure we’ll be a good match. Once approved, they’ll introduce you to my foster mom, so we can meet!

Story
Meet Blinky! Blinky came to CCHS as a transfer from another shelter that became wildly overpopulated. Blinky is a 4-year-old mixed breed that is as sassy as can be! Blinky is a little on the shy side with strangers, but once she's comfortable around you she really lets that quirky personality of hers shine through! Though Blinky can get along great with other dogs, we still recommend that she is the only pet in the household as she can overstimulate easily. With any rescue dog, training and socialization is incredibly important to the success of the dog. Apply for Blinky today!Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $100. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.

Story
Wowsers, there is a lot of Shiba competition around here at Fetch lately! My name is Tohru and I'm a newly single mom. You can adopt my puppies if you want a bunch of squeaky, whiny, potatoes on legs OOoooor, you could adopt me instead! I've got the makings of a great house dog! I'm good at potty training unless there is indoor grass, err carpet? I'm energetic and love to play in the yard. Squeaky toys are basically the best thing I've ever seen. I think I love my squeaky pickle more than my puppies. I'll let you know if a stranger is near. I'll let you know if the coffee maker, stove, alarm and any other beeping is occurring. I love pets! Especially if someone else is getting some. I'm food motivated, so maybe I'd be game to learn some tricks when I'm not in mom brain mode. I'm beautiful inside and out! I know it's hard to see me past those cute pups I made, but it takes a lot of work to get from there to moi! Let's go on a cheese date! You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Tohru D.O.B: 5/12/20 Breed: Shiba Inu Sex: Female Weight: 30 lbs Altered: not yet Adoption: 400 Good with Cats: Yes, I like to smell their butts! Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells.
