Story
Dahlia, here!   I’m your typical Shiba who has requirements of LOTS of toys in my new home, a comfortable bed and lots of comfortable blankets to sleep on (I for sure love my bougie lifestyle.) I have become super snuggly- almost cat like. I’m fun-loving pretty little lady! I have been working really hard on the following things and have mastered them:   Car rides   Kennel trained   Politely take treats   Come when called   The word “NO”   Doggy door trained   Going up and down stairs   Play appropriately with other dogs   I’m working really hard and I am almost 100% potty trained. I take a little bit to warm up to new people but I’m very food motivated so it makes training easy!    Apply for me today   Apply here: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt   Name: Dahlia   D.O.B: 07/20/2022   Breed: Shiba Inu   Sex: Female   Weight: 23 lbs   Altered: Yes   Adoption: 400   Good with Cats: I'm not sure yet.   Good with Dogs: Yes, I like other dogs!   Good with Kids: I'm unsure yet.   Special Requirements: Another dog in the home and a fenced-in yard, please.   *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. It can also help set up a relationship with greater odds of success integrating your new pet into your family. Anyone who provides proof of completed positive reinforcement training will receive a 100 dollar refund from Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc! If you have questions or are wondering if the class you want to take qualifies please reach out! ♥   **This dog was rescued from a breeding situation. Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life   Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization ##1850496##

Story
I just don’t know what a girl has to do to get a family to love her anymore. My foster momma says I’m the whole package. I'm independent, very very sweet, and food motivated which makes training oh so easy. Is it maybe because everyone has already adopted my babies and thinks I’m too old? Hurts my heart that no one thinks I am as cute as the dozens of puppies they forced me to have all those years. My foster mom says I’m the perfect age. I am always up for any adventure, ride perfectly in the car, and love to sleep in a bed right next to your bed. I don’t chew things up and as you can see, I’m so adorable. But I just don’t understand why not even one person has asked about me or even stopped to meet me? What did I do wrong?Name: ChexD.O.B: 07/18/2019Breed: Shiba InuSex: FemaleWeight: 38.8 lbsAltered: YesAdoption: 400Good with Cats: I'm not crazy about them.Good with Dogs: Yes, I enjoy the company of other dogs.Good with Kids: Maybe, if they are respectful.Special Requirements: Fenced-in yard please.*Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member.
