I was bought as a present to keep my owner company, but they didn't seem to take into account my owner's age and my energy level. Although she loves me, I need more attention and playtime than she is able to give me. I'm very active, good with other dogs, love to play catch and love playing with her grandson. It's unknown how I would do with cats. I'm not quite house trained. I try to let you know when I have to go out, but I still have accidents on occasion. I could use some leash training. Hello, I'm Mojo! I've got a lot of love to give and I'm known for my sweet, friendly nature. I'm a curious fellow, always eager to explore my surroundings. I'm gentle, too. I promise to treat you and your belongings with utmost respect. I'm also smart, figuring out new places to explore. I'm mellow, so if you're looking for a calm companion, I'm your guy. Despite my heart murmur, a chronic dry eye and early kidney issues (a special diet can help), I'm still full of life and love. I'm also quite the cuddler, ready to snuggle up with you at a moment's notice. I believe I'd make a great addition to any home because of my loving and gentle nature. HI - I'M LACEY! I was recently rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. I came in there a matted mess, and am still a work in progress. I was scared there, too, but am doing better now in a foster home, where I share my days with some doggy pals. My paperwork says I am 7 years old, but we really think I'm a bit older, maybe 10? I'm an easygoing girl, who would love to be pampered for once in my life as I was clearly neglected, likely stuck in a backyard someplace. I really love to be with my person. I'm in good health overall (may need a dental and have the start of cataracts, though), and I'm truly ready to start a new life. Can you adopt me? I weigh about 15 lbs.
