Story
This is "Romeo". Romeo came to us with his sister, "Juliet". They are a Shih Tzu/Terrier mix. They are about 4 months old and weigh about 10 pounds. Romeo and Juliet came to us with "Milo" also, a Shih Tzu/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Romeo and Juliet might have been related to Milo because all three puppies have the breed of a Shih Tzu mix. MILO GOT ADOPTED shortly after coming to us. GREAT NEWS! NOW JULIET GOT ADOPTED! As great as the news is for Juliet, now poor little Romeo is left all by himself. He misses his sister and now he is wondering when he will be as lucky as Juliet and find his new home. Romeo is a great puppy and he is smart. He would make a great playmate for a child over 6 years old. The following is Romeo and Juliet's "story" as originally posted: The puppies' story began some weeks ago when Romeo and Juliet and Milo were brought to a pet shop in Waterbury by someone who claimed he found the three puppies in the parking lot at BJ's in Waterbury. We find that "story" questionable after contacting the store manager at BJ's who checked the store's security cameras and also asked the employees if anyone saw 3 puppies running around the parking lot. There were no sightings of the puppies on the cameras or by any of the employees. We suspect this person was the owner and did not want the puppies any longer. The question that remains is where the mommy is to these puppies. We are sure she will have more puppies in the future. About Romeo and Juliet, they are very cute and they are very nice puppies. But, puppies are puppies especially when the 2 are together! Once Romeo and Juliet are placed individually, they will be even smarter, they will be even greater and they will be even more loving. They love to cuddle on your lap! Romeo and Juliet are truly wonderful dogs. We just cannot say enough about them. They are 2 very special dogs. They will be smaller dogs when they grow up. In their new homes, they would have a lot of fun with children who are 6 years old or older. You must own your own home. No condos. No apartments. Romeo got neutered, he got his last shot which is his third shot and he got his rabies shot. So, our boy is all set for a year. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Romeo is $425.00. No credit cards. If you are interested in Romeo, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com. You can meet Romeo on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. Romeo will be waiting for you! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.If you are not able to view the pictures please email me and I will send them to you.  Sorry for any inconvience. HOTCH is 18 months old and weighs 14 pounds and came in with his sister HILLARY.  They were found on the streets just sitting in the pouring rain and they looked a mess.  Can provide pictures of them found. This brother and sister duo are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.  HOTCH is the more cuddly with me and likes to just hang out with me on the couch watching TV.  HILLARY is more social and playful with the other dogs in my home.  She is especially close to 2 tiny chihuahua's I have.  They may look a little mean or reserved but they are happy and have come a long way since coming into my home.  They walk very well on a leash without pulling and riding in the car without getting sick.  They love treats, chicken jerky treats! Both are completely healthy and playful but quiet and calm.  If you are interested in adopted them, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you, www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 18, 2024, 7:41 am

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.If you are able to view the pictures, please email me and I will send them to you.  Thank you. Hillary and her brother Hotch came to me at the beginning of the year after being found just sitting on the street in the pouring rain.  They looked a mess.  They were always nice and quiet when they came in but they are happy and playing with all of the other dogs in my home even though it looks like they have a mean scroll on their face. Both are 18 months old and weigh 14 pounds.  Hillary has a bum leg due to a very old injury.  I considered amputation but the leg is not in her way or bothering her.  I have attached a video of her walking so you can see she is NOT special needs and nothing needs to be done to keep her healthy.  There is no maintenance for the leg or anything to keep her comfortable.  Both walk well on the leash, no pulling and ride in the car without getting sick.  They really do not play with toys but rather each other.  Their energy level is low considering how young they are. Hillary and Hotch are a bonded pair and have to be adopted together. They love to be loved on and are a sweet pair.  Hotch is more of the snuggler and sticks close to me.  Hillary is more social with the other dogs in my home.  I have more pictures I can provide of them. Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ADOPTED!!!   SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THAT THE PICTURES ARE NOT SHOWING UP.  I WILL SEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED. Sally came to me with a name that she already knew but if not I would have named her DOWNY because she is always in my laundry basket or on the couch, wherever my fresh laundry is, she can be found.  She actually likes to bury herself in clothe, blankets and pillows.  She is right now hiding in between lots of pillows for the dogs. This girl is a funny little girl but quiet and sweet.  Sally is 4 1/2 years old and 16 pounds, she will not grow anymore.  She walks very well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick.  Sally gets along with all of the dogs, she actually is very independent and does not bother with the dogs so she would be fine as the only dog in the home.  She loves following me around and just hanging out with me. If you are interested in adopting SALLY please submit an application on the website below.  All of our dogs are located in San Antonio, TX but can be transported once they are adopted.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
