Curry is a little doll! Weighing in at 8 lbs he is the cutest, smartest little guy. It takes a few days for him to warm up to you but once he does he'll want hugs, kisses and belly rubs! Don't think he would do well with small kids with his limited eye sight and quick movements. He has quite the bark, and does well with my other dogs (2 of which are blind). Loves to play and is curious, gets underfoot because he wants to be near you. Poor Curry was a hot mess, he was terrified, in pain, had a bulging eye, covered in mats and needed a shave and eye removal for comfort and his health. He is settling in now, at first he was so nervous to come near him, now he immediately rolls over for belly rubs. At 1.5 years old and 8 pounds he has turned into a flutter of affection and will need a home that will continue to provide him the security he needs. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. This is Mickey. Also know as Mickey Moo. He’s a good boy, he may be 10 but he acts like he’s 5. Mickey walks great on a leash and knows how to sit. He’s gentle with children and loves them. He doesn’t do well with being in a crate. He needs to be in a home with a doggy door and have access to the outside at night. It’s because of our inability to crate train him that we decided we would like to rehome him. He does well in the crate for a few hours. The problem is only at night. This is very hard for us but we know that this is what’s best for us and him.

Hi I’m Lavender! My foster mom says I am a sweet girl. But I take “stranger danger” to a new level! My new home will have to understand I have strong reactions when strangers approach, and this reaction may pose an issue for active, social families with lots of outside encounters. The ideal adopter would be extremely patient with me and foster a calm environment with very little outside stimulation. My anxiety manifests itself in constant circling around and around furniture, negatively reacting when strangers approach, and a propensity to want to chase cars when walking outside. But here are my great qualities- when I love my person, I REALLY love them! I will sit on your shoulders on the sofa and love on you, snuggle on your lap, look at you with adoring eyes, and-,I’m really smart! I have great potty manners and i am trained to sit for treats and food AND i go straight into my kennel at night with the command “Go crate”. I’m ok with other dogs in the house but they have to understand my boundaries. I would probably be much better as an only dog. I watch tv with you and look for animals in the show. I DO react to these animals as well even though my foster mom tries to convince me they aren’t real! I’m hoping someone will give me a chance

I am cautious around new people but warm up quick once I’ve been around you. No kiddos under 10 for this reason. I love being outside and laying in the yard. I also love being with my people and being your sofa companion. I like sleeping with my people too. My foster family say I’m a sweet boy and my forever family is out there.
