She is approximately 7 years old and weighs about 12 pounds.She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is ready for her forever home. Noel has started to integrate into the family routine. Shes spending more time outside of the open crate, and she spent a good part of the day today in a sunny spot on a blanket soaking up the morning rays. She deserves a well earned retirement after all those years as a puppy mill breeder. Shes eating great, and is going potty outside regularly. She sleeps very quietly in the crate at night. Shes still skittish around humans and doesnt yet initiate human contact, however shes been wagging her tail when I walk into the room!! If I place her on my lap, she will cuddle up and sleep. We will continue to work on the wonders of GOOD human contact and I anticipate shell come out of her shell more each day! Things to consider when adopting Noel" retired breeder dog (may be shy for a while) house training is in progress she will need help learning to walk on lead grooming every 4-6 weeks to maintain coat regular bathing (every 1-2 weeks between grooming appointments) will help keep her coat in good condition she will need a slow, patient approach once adopted Please visit our website www.compactcaninerescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and see other adoptable dogs.

If you are looking for a gentle lady, Toni is your gall. Toni’s foster mom has nothing but nice things to say about her. Toni is fully house trained and will even bark at the door if she needs to go out. Toni has beautiful leash manners and is very easy for anyone to walk. She loves to be in the same room as you and is a wonderful companion, but not very big on the snuggles. Toni likes the occasional scratch and pet but prefers to be next to you, rather than in your lap. She gets along great with cats and whenever she is in a playful mood, squeaky toys are her favorite. Meet Chico! This small handsome gentleman here is ready to find his forever home! Chico can be quite fond of his personal space, so he will require any children in the home to be at least 6 or older. He will also be required to meet any resident dogs prior to going home. Please remember when doing any introductions with either people or animals to do them slowly! Chico is a Shih Tzu mix, so potential adopters would need to be prepared to give him very frequent grooming. Lastly, Chico could benefit from someone who is willing to work on his handling, and getting him used to being touched, held, & pet(such as when at the vets or groomers). Meet baby! This lovely little lady here was recently transferred to us and she is ready to find her forever home! She did recently have some teeth & a mass removed, but thankfully all of the medical expenses have been covered by our partners at Grey Muzzle! While the mass was benign(and does not spread), any future adopter would need to be ready to keep up with her annual check ups at the vets. Lastly, Baby is a Shih Tzu mix so she will require very frequent grooming. Baby has been a little shy & skittish while in our care, so please remember when doing any introductions with either people or animals to do them slowly! If you had any questions or would like a visit with her, please find a Kennel Technician & they will be happy to assist!
