Beautiful Copper is a Shihtzu x Chihuahua mix, ShiChi or ChiShih, however you say it, he is 100% adorable. Copper is looking for her forever home! This little playful sweetheart lost his human recently, and now needs a new home of his own! Copper is soft, cuddly and likes a romp in the yard. Copper lives with many other dogs currently and we feel he would do well in a multi dog home or as your one and only. Copper is a sweet boy, loves to be pet and needs a person to give him the attention he so deserves. Copper also needs to lose a few pounds to be in his best health. Quality food and regular exercise will go along way with Copper. Copper is neutered and will be brought current on vaccinations and receive a dental as a part of his adoption donation.

Papi, our oh so cute Daddy Shihtzu, is approximately 10 years old, and so full of life! He loves his playtime outside, and all the other dogs in his current home. Papi recently lost his senior human, and now needs a new home of his own. Papi is playful, affectionate and a fun pup to be around. Please help us find Papi that soft place to land! Papi is the father to Copper and Teddy and they share his good looks! He has been living in a multi dog home and could do well as a only dog as long as his new person has lots of time for him. If you know Shihtzu's, you know they love their humans! Papi has been neutered and current on his vaccinations and has already received a dental as a part of his adoption donation.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Parsnip from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 2 year old male Shih Tzu.  I am about 7 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. Note: when proof of dental is sent adoption fee will be returned to adopter. 9 years old bonded pair/ true sisters. Misty is about 8 lbs, lulu is about 20. Vetting up to date except dentals need updated. Last dental 3 years ago. Misty has an old eye injury iin one eye. Possible heart issue that needs a better test to tell for sure before her dental. Lulu is the larger red one, misty is the smaller white one. Same mommy pure bred shih tzu, father(s) likely terrier. They are mostly potty trained, but have been allowed to Use potty pads, so carpet or rugs may not be ideal. They are very sweet, intrigued, but not super high energy. They love attention and lulu loves food… a bit too much and is on a diet- aren’t we all lol. They are currently in the Seattle area.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  JoJo is a very sweet, easy-going boy who's looking for his last family.  His Mom had to give him up due to her own health issues.  He's typical for his breed and age and prefers the company of people rather than cuddling up with other dogs, though he's just fine with them hanging out.  He's healthy and just needs someone who will be dedicated to keeping his face clean daily due to saliva staining.  The fur on his face needs to be kept very short to help with this.  Then just keeping his face clean.  His tongue hangs out due to missing teeth and that's what causes the saliva stains.  Easy to keep a handle on and so worth it for this very sweet boy!   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 24, 2025, 2:50 pm
