Bitsie is a Toy Shih Tzu mix who is 8lbs of sweetness. Found as a stay in Milwaukee, Bitsie is estimated at 12 yrs with some missing teeth but that doesn’t stop her from eating hard food. Bitsie is so very sweet and sometimes you forget she is around since she is very content to sleep basically anywhere but her favorite place to be is cuddled up on your lap or next to you. Bitsie has been doing well at putting herself to bed in her kennel and keeping it clean all night. She has also been doing very well at pottying outside - she does her business and comes right back in. She doesn’t bark at other animals or people but does make it known she wants to be near her people. She minds her own business and just wants to lay comfortably on a warm lap or blanket. This is one of the sweetest little girls. She loves attention. She leads OK she’s good with the cats. She’ll sit she’ll dance a little travel as well. Does not like the brush at all but it’s OK with Scissors and trimming of the toes. She is afraid of chickens. She is diabetic and she will need daily shots.All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $175 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $250, and dogs over the age of 10 are $85. Adult cat adoption fees are $50, kittens under one year are $120, and cats over the age of 10 are $35.

Tommy is an adorable little shih tzu mix puppy who is almost 9 weeks old. He weighs about 3.5 pounds. Tommy is a sweet and friendly boy who loves to cuddle and give kisses. He has had his first vaccines, is dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and a health certificate from a veterinary examination, which certifies him to be in good condition. He is being fostered in Muskego, WI Tommy is one of a select few of our rescues whom we believe are purebred or a popular designer blend which we adopt out at a near market rate in order to use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. His adoption fee is $1,000, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
