Story
Casper was dumped where I took him in back in 2023 of May since then I've fostered him in. Yes time has gone by due to such busy circumstances. He was very shy the first couple of months but with patience he comes out of and starts to talk a lot. He loves to talk and run around the house. He is a sweet cat who tends to be pretty skiddish around new people. After he warms up to you he'll still have skittish tendencies but loves to be gently invited to cuddle with you. He needs to be in a relaxed home with as he does tend to get skiddish with too much noise/movement. He loves to hide and sleep. When he's up he loves to talk! He loves other cats my other cat is not a fan of him and it breaks my heart to see that. Ideally having a cuddle cat companion and play buddy would would something he would thrive for. He has only been only indoors since I've taken him in. Please no kids or dogs. A couple or a single person would be the best arrangement for him. He's a timid but sweet boy.

Story
Milo is an absolute sweetheart and goof ball. He loves to snuggle up with you and seeks attention after you have been gone all day. He is about 3 years old. He is spunky and can be very verbal when he is in play mode. Play mode is short lived because he enjoys sleeping the most. My son has such severe allergies to him that I can no longer keep him :( we have tried so many things to avoid this but it is time to part. His front paws are declawed but his back ones are not.

Story
Khloe, was born in out attack. Her mom some how got in there and had a litter. The mom was carrying the babies one by one out and some how she left Khloe outside, while it was pouring. We got her spayed as soon as we could. She has been with us since. Unfortunately my daughter has grown allergic to her hair. We have Khloe in our back room where my daughter does not go into. We feel that this is unfair to Khloe and decided we needed to rehome her so she can have more room to roam. She does not like going outside ( AT ALL). We want to find a loving home for her.

Story
Clyde is very chatty and would love a home where he can be king of the castle! He can be easily overstimulated so will need to be in a calm and quiet home with his people around more often than not. He has a slight head tilt, possibly from previous trauma, but it doesn't seem to slow him down one bit! Apply to adopt at www.animalluvrs.org All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.

Story
Snowballs is a lovely cat very talkative and really needs an owner that will love her tons. I found her in my back yard as a kitten and took her in; I will say she is very shy at first and might hide at first for some time, but temptations will do the trick. I do not know if it is the breed but she does seem a little nervous, but I also have another cat who is a bit of a bully so I think she will shine bright away from the bully. I have to let her go for I am moving and can not take her with me. ;)

Story
Minx was a "community cat," being fed with others, but not spayed. When she turned up pregnant, the feeder waited until she was ready to deliver when he contacted us. She was clearly about to give birth, so we set her up in our nursery. Sure enough, the very next day, she delivered seven babies and took on an orphaned kitten! Minx was the best mom, showering her eight babies with so much love and attention. She's very loving with humans and kittens, but don't let her near another adult cat, as she turns into a poked bear! Minx will give you lots of love and laughter as she tosses her play mice in the air and catches them. She LOVES catnip and watching out the window at the birds and lizards. Minx MUST be an indoor only cat. Minx absolutely will be miserable if she is adopted without a pair of kittens. She loves each one of them so much and will often be found cuddling up with a slew of them (we have 16 kittens in the nursery). DOB: 6/4/21.

Story
Tiger Age: 9 months Breed: Siamese/Domestic short hair - White/flame Coat: short hair Special features: tripod; Felv Hi, I'm Tiger and I'm so adorable. I was attacked by a raccoon and had to have my leg removed, but I'm doing better now. I'm doing really well learning to get around without my leg. I have the cutest quirk - I love to be under things - blankets, cat beds, you name it, I'll get under it. After I'm under, I peek out and all the humans start cooing at me and telling me how cute I am. I love all the attention! I also tested positive for FELV. As you'll learn below, it doesn't mean I can't live a happy life. FELV cats aren't always sick, in fact they are healthy, they just have a shorter lifespan. Here is some information about FELV: FeLV, or Feline Leukemia Virus, is a virus that attacks the immune system of a cat. It isn't a form of cancer but is actually a virus that weakens the immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy lives - they just have a shorter life expectancy than FeLV negative cats. FeLV is only contagious to other cats. For this reason, it is required that FeLV+ cats are kept indoors only. They can only cohabitate with other FeLV+ cats as it is spread from cat to cat via prolonged, direct contact with an infected cat's saliva (sharing food bowls, grooming each other, etc.), urine, blood, and from mother cat to kittens during pregnancy. Feline leukemia is species specific, so other animals such as dogs cannot contract the virus. The virus itself is not airborne and dies rapidly in the environment, so you won't have to worry about carrying the virus on clothes when you leave the house or have friends over. FeLV+ cats appear and act just as healthy as the other cats we have available for adoption. They do, however, have an increased risk of getting sick. This makes protecting them from stress, feeding them a high-quality diet, and addressing health problems as soon as they arise absolutely critical. You wouldn't know a cat had FeLV by just looking at it, and many people have FeLV+ cats in their home and don't even know it because they never got them tested.
