MEET DARBY! This sweet kitty is only 6 months old and was a rescue plea from Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center. She is reported to have fallen 20 feet from a tree and was limping on her left rear leg. Unsurprisingly, her back left femur was broken. Luckily, we were able to get her in quickly with Humane Society of Tampa Bay's Animal Care Center and she had her femur repaired. Darby is spayed, 4lbs, and we are accepting applications for her so she can move into her forever home once she heals. She is a lovebug and now that her leg is fixed, she should live life as a normal kitty. All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Brioche is a tiny long haired Calico mixed with Torti and snowshoe. She is seven weeks old as of yesterday and is as precious as she looks. Yes, she may be tiny but when held it's like a precious moment LITERALLY! She is so sweet, so beautiful and has the kindest soul about her. She is a HUGE cuddler as well. She has received age-appropriate vaccines, has been microchipped, and will be scheduled for her spay at a clinic near the adopter. Banks is a big cuddle bug! He loves cuddling and getting licked by his foster's cat, it’s adorabke! He loves to get his head rubbed and sleeps in all sorts of unique positions. He loves to play, but isn't into rough play. He is dog and cat friendly and gets along with the dog and cats in his fosters home. he can't wait to meet you! ##2107995##

Casper was dumped where I took him in back in 2023 of May since then I've fostered him in. Yes time has gone by due to such busy circumstances. He was very shy the first couple of months but with patience he comes out of and starts to talk a lot. He loves to talk and run around the house. He is a sweet cat who tends to be pretty skiddish around new people. After he warms up to you he'll still have skittish tendencies but loves to be gently invited to cuddle with you. He needs to be in a relaxed home with as he does tend to get skiddish with too much noise/movement. He loves to hide and sleep. When he's up he loves to talk! He loves other cats my other cat is not a fan of him and it breaks my heart to see that. Ideally having a cuddle cat companion and play buddy would would something he would thrive for. He has only been only indoors since I've taken him in. Please no kids or dogs. A couple or a single person would be the best arrangement for him. He's a timid but sweet boy.
