Meet Jake.  His owner was unable to keep him.   He went right to the vets for a good exam, tested for felv/fiv - negative on felv and positive on fiv, got neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped with Home Again. He is very sweet and loving. Their prior history is sometimes unknown. We make every effort to check the basic health and personality of each animal.CAT:Every adoptable cat is currently vaccinated (FVRCPP), vaccinated for rabies (if 16 weeks or older), spayed/neutered, treated for worms, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).DOG:Each adoptable dog/puppy is currently vaccinated (DHPP), vaccinated for rabies (if older than 16 weeks), treated for worms, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).Upon adoption you will be given a health record to take to your veterinarian. Adoption fees are typically $90.00 for kittens, $50 for cats and $300 for dogs/puppies unless otherwise stated. We accept cash or debit/ credit card only! These fees are subject to fluctuation, if deemed necessary, depending on season, amount of adoptable animals in our program, and/or breed of animal. OLLIE is a simply stunning siamese kitty looking for a home. This beautiful boy is about 2 years old and around 12 pounds. He has beautiful blue eyes and was born with a stubby tail. He was purchased from a breeder but due to his person's increased travel schedule Ollie was spending 2 weeks a month in boarding, not an ideal situation, so his person made the decision to surrender him to help Ollie find a more stable life. We are still getting to know Ollie. He's lived his life as an only cat, we aren't sure yet how he feels about other felines -- stay tuned for updates. Once in awhile the Adoption Team will let us try and write these bio's per say, but I don't have posable thumbs so they are helping. I love attention, but more of the you pet me and talk to me type of thing- the ground or my bed is my safe and cozy area. The best toys in life are the little mice that make noises, and wand toys.
