Story
** Courtesy Post! See bottom of info for important information** Meet beautiful Summer!! Summer loves to eat, especially wet food. She’s very vocal and will meow at you when she wants attention. She respond to her name. She’s very motherly and loves giving other cats baths. She's spayed, and current on her rabies shot. She loves the other kitties in her house, and does fine around the dogs. With proper, slow introductions, she ought to be fine with calmer dogs. She is not overly fond of the toddler in her current home (a bit too much commotion for her liking!) but older, calmer kids should be just fine with Summer. She's looking for a home where she can snuggle and lounge like the royal goddess she is! For more information or to adopt this sweet lady, please TEXT Dana directly at (248) 978-6854. PLEASE NOTE, Summer is currently located in the state of Delaware! *Courtesy Post - text Dana directly if you're interested in adopting Summer.*

Story
Beautiful Queen Siam is a young lady who just needs to be given a chance! After the first 2 years of her life were spent on the streets, she is now learning to be a longer, indoor cat, how to scratch on a scratch pad, and how to play with a fishing wand toy. She will take a little longer to warm up and trust new people, but when she does she will give you head rubs, ask for body rubs, and chirp to thank or greet you! With her foster mama now, she asks for chin and head scratches, and purrs her appreciation. Please note, Siam is comfortable around other cats, but dogs absolutely terrify her. Is your home calm, and patient? Are you able to give Siam a chance so she can learn to trust, and to bond with you? If you are open to giving her the time and attention she deserves, we would LOVE to talk to you about adopting this sweetheart! Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, we offer a getting acquainted period, and a 2-week wellness guarantee so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Story
*COURTESY POST* For more information, reach out directly to Patti by text : (513) 291-8242 Sylvester is a VERY handsome dude! He's sweet and playful with his kitty siblings, and he is good with people who are kind and calm with him. He recently spent some time with a couple of kids under the age of 5 though, and his people discovered that he does NOT do well with younger kids... They stress him out and he may swipe at them in defense or fear. He has never done that with adults or pre-teens so LOTS of households would be perfectly fine for him, but those with younger kids are not a good fit unfortunately... and due to that and changes in housing situations, his owner of multiple years is now being forced to find this poor sweet boy a new home. Sylvester is estimated to be 9-10 years old, healthy and a little 'chunky' with good litter box manners, playful with toys and other kitties, and in desperate need of a safe new home with calm people who will love and respect him, and won't scare or chase him. *This is a courtesy post. This cat is not under the care of Blue's Mews. Please contact Patti directly for additional information or to adopt Sylvester! (513) 291-8242*

Story
Dumbledore was a stray in poor health when he arrived at his current foster home. He has since been vet checked, well cared for, and is doing very well! He loves treats and chirps and chortles while being petted or fed. He has been sleeping at the foot of his foster's bed, but isn’t a big snuggler. It appears he hasn’t had many positive people experiences during his time on the streets, but has been warming up. He’s appreciated pets from grownups and a mature 8 yr old. He does not like to be picked up and quickly gets defensive/aggressive if scared or if he perceives a threat. Therefore small children and other pets (especially those who are energetic) may be too much him. Dumbledore would benefit from an experienced cat owner who has the time and patience to bond with him. As his health has improved, he’s started gently playing “got your foot” from under the bed, where he also likes to rest. He also enjoys batting/defeathering a fishing pole toy! Dumbledore is roughly 2 years old, and isn't a small kitty... at his last vet check, he weighed a little over 11 pounds (and could probably stand to fill in a little more still.) He is also missing half of his tail and what’s left has a kink and curl to it like a pig’s tail. We don't know how it happened, but when he came to us it had already healed over, and now he wags it like a dog. This gorgeous boy has been through so much! He deserves a home that is safe, and a family that is patient. Somewhere he can relax and learn how to love and be loved. Is your home the safe haven he has been waiting for? Included with the adoption is the kitty's neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!
