Siamese kittens & cats in Burnet, Texas

Luna, 4 years old, is looking for her forever home! Rescued as a kitten from the Texas heat, she quickly became part of our family. Luna has a gentle nature, especially with children. She was by my side when I went into labor and has been sweet and protective of our growing little one. Playful, watchful, and always kind, she’s never aggressive. Luna is a cuddle bug, seeking affection about 80% of the time, but also enjoys her independence and occasional alone time. She’s low-maintenance, even when left alone for extended periods with a trusted family member checking in on her, and always greets us happily when we return after longer trips. While she can be shy around new guests but warms up within a few hours. Luna loves the outdoors but is content inside on chilly days. She’s well-behaved with her litter box and would thrive in a home where she can enjoy family time and outdoor play. Luna is fine with smaller sized dogs. We are unsure about othe cats in the home though.

Malachai is a gentle Siamese mix with soft seal point fur and pale blue eyes. He is a quiet, observant kitten who takes his time warming up to new people, but once he feels safe, his affectionate side starts to show. He prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and likes attention on his terms, though he has a soft spot for his foster dad and is very motivated by treats.   Malachai gets bursts of energy, especially at night when he turns into a little explorer. He loves to climb and can usually be found loafing in a cat condo or on a catwalk, keeping an eye on everything. He’s a big fan of toys that roll across the floor, especially plastic balls, and will chase them all around the home so happily!    Malachai gets along well with other kittens, especially his buddy Salem, a resident kitty in the foster home. They play, groom each other, and enjoy each other’s company, making Malachai a great candidate for a home with another friendly cat. While he is curious about some adult cats, he is intimidated by more dominant ones and would do best in a home with patient, cat-savvy companions.   Because Malachai is naturally shy, he would do best in a quiet home without children or too much noise. He may take time to adjust, but for someone who understands the reward of earning a cat’s trust, he will be a wonderful companion. Miso is less than 2 yrs old. She is trained to walk on leash outside. She’s independent and not a cuddle cat. But she shows love and affection in her own way and on her terms. She’s very quiet but will chirp when she needs to talk to you. She’s very smart, calm and pretty! She needs toys to play with and a scratching post. Great pet and wish I could keep her. I am fostering her until she finds a forever home.

thumper is a nice cat that really like cuddling and being with people.

Friendly, Calm, Chatty Could you be the gravy to this Mashed Potato? She’s a sweet and talkative girl who can’t wait to be your new best friend! You might think of potatoes as just a side dish, but this girl is the whole meal - she’s adorable, she’s friendly, and she likes to play! Mashed Potato has the spirit of a lap cat, just without the lap part. She doesn’t really sit in laps, but she loves to be around people. She will sleep in bed with her foster and loves to be petted and get cheek scratches. Mashed Potato is also pretty chatty and loves to talk to her foster all the time! She’s no kitten, but for a senior girl, Mashed Potato is pretty playful! She really likes playing with the wand toys, but she doesn’t require tons of playtime from her people. She definitely prefers lots of love and attention over toys! Mashed Potato is currently taking one easy medication for pain and anxiety, since her legs sometimes spasm and she has a slight wobble on her left leg. It doesn’t stop her from being her sweet and chatty self though! The ideal home for Mashed Potato is one with people who will give her plenty of attention and listen to all her little meows. She met some kids between 4-5 yrs old and did well with all of them! Mashed Potato is family ready! Mashed Potato has tested positive AND negative for Feline Leukemia. This means it is very likely that she is FeLV regressive. FeLV regressive cats typically live a normal lifespan with few symptoms and are at low risk of developing FeLV-related issues. They are, for the most part, just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Mashed Potato can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip.
