Story
When Allie was found, she was almost dead from starvation, and you could see her bones. Her foster brought her home and nursed her back to health. Now, she is lively, healthy, and has a second chance at life. She has gained weight and is potty box trained. Allie is very calm, quiet, and loving. She only talks when her food or water bowl is empty. She has beautiful blue eyes and is a delightful companion. Please apply at furryfriendsaa.org/adopt/

Story
Jinxy is a wonderful cat, his momma was killed when his litter was only about 5 weeks old and he definitely considers himself a human baby. The sweetest cuddly cat named after Jinxy from meet the fockers. He loves to sleep with his human at bedtime and although he sometimes has an issue making sure he uses his litter box he is a very loveable and playful kitty.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Returned when grandma went to nursing homeHi!   I'm Niran.  I was adopted when I was a kitty and lived with my mama for years until my mom had to be put in a senior home.  Her daughter was supposed to take me but she decided not to take care of me.  I thought I was family but guess I was wrong.  So I was returned back to my foster mama.  I was so used to me alone with my human mom so it's been hard to adjust to all these cats at my foster home.    But I've done alright!I'm really sweet when I finally come around.  It takes awhile. For being such a big cat it's ironic I'm kinda a scaredy cat!!  I'd love to have a forever home again without so many cats in the house!!  Maybe being the only one would be nice!So if you're interested in me as a forever cat - potentially a lap cat- please contact my foster mom, Janet, at catlady5555@yahoo.com.   She can set up a meet and greet!!   Thank you!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 10, 2024, 11:24 am

Story
Honey’s story is a reminder of the resilience and hope that can arise from the most unlikely of circumstances. While we may not know all the details of her past, we do know how she bravely found her way to Devoted to Pets Rescue—a journey fueled by instinct and a heart full of longing for love and safety. This stunning Chocolate/Tortie Point Siamese was discovered at an outdoor photography studio in Dayton, a place where she saw a glimmer of hope amidst her solitude. When she spotted a photographer alone on the grounds, it was as if a spark ignited within her. Honey, once so lonely, came running toward the photographer. Her spirit was yearning for something better. In that moment when they met they were both cautious, feeling the weight of uncertainty. But as the photographer gently spoke to her, Honey responded with soft chirps and sweet chatter—her way of expressing her hopes, her fears, and her dreams of a better life. That little exchange marked the beginning of better life. Honey brushed against the photographer's leg, holding on tightly as if to say, “Please don’t leave me behind!” It was a plea filled with vulnerability and trust, and the photographer's heart simply melted at the sight. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that Honey needed more than just companionship—she was underweight, her hip bones protruding and with her strength diminished. It was a harsh reminder of the struggle she had endured alone. But in that moment, a promise was made— the photographer vowed to find her a future that would give her the love and comfort she so desperately deserved. As the photographer continued her work, Honey lingered, patiently waiting for her chance at a new life. When the photo session concluded, Honey's journey to Baytown began. She purred contentedly in the photographer’s lap as they made the drive. A plea for help was shared on social media, and soon, a compassionate foster from Devoted to Pets stepped up to welcome sweet Honey into their loving home. Honey quickly proved to be a delightful companion. While she can be momentarily startled by sudden noises, her gentle nature shines through as she responds well and quickly adjusts. Honey is a lap cat, a purring machine—steeped in affection and joy—never hesitating to snuggle close to receive affection and love. In every way, Honey embodies her name—sweet, gentle, and so deserving of a life filled with warmth and joy. She is not just a cat; she is a testament to resilience, a reminder that love can blossom even in the most unexpected places.
